And of course Chicago has a total ban on hand guns. Shows you how well "gun control" works. Which is, it doesn't. Of course most FReepers know that. Amazing how liberals don't seem to change their conceptions when reality doesn't cooperate.

The boys in the hood will be boys in the hood.

This is definitely sad, unacceptable and tragic.
That said, how many 'eyewitnesses' will not come forward and have not come forward in the past?
How many times has the shooter, the targets etc been in the system and still allowed to roam the streets in the name of rehabilitation?
This is one of the reasons I definitely will not and can not 'get on board' for the so called "War on Terror." We have plenty of terror on the streets of America's towns and cities--when children can't play on the sidewalk in front of their home, while people can't sit on their own couch or lie on their own bed without the fear, no--make that the very good possibility of getting shot-- then that means we
or at the very least the people of those neighborhoods are constantly being terrorized.
I am not even going to hint at the fact that if guns were not outlawed for 'decent people' this would not have happened, but you can bet your bottom dollar that if the shooters even thought that there were legal guns in the area they would more than likely have gone elsewhere and eventually we may be lucky enough to have them (shooters) removed from OUR society.

This is a direct result of Mator Daily protecting gangs with his anti-gun laws.

Where's the great defender of Chicago's poor, Je$$e?

There is only one answer to all this. Shoot back, on the spot. It will be a little rough for several months, but after that it will end.

"The incident has left the family in a state of emotional shock and fear," community activist Derrick Mosley said, adding that he has sent letters to African-American churches urging them to assume more responsibility in preventing such shootings. "This is black-on-black crime. We must address this." A very intelligent statement. I only hope the churches hold some sway over the community...
