[history]
Traffic on Mathilda Avenue near Third Street in Sunnyvale is backed up today because of a gathering of anti-war protesters at Lockheed Martin offices.
Sunnyvale Police say about 100 protesters from Direct Action to Stop the War have gathered outside three entrances to the company's main office at Lockheed Martin Way.

I don't understand. Do the protesters wish Lockheed to liquidate their assets and go out of business or switch to selling frozen yogurt? I don't believe either is likely to happen.

My wife called me from work and said they had 3 gates blocked. News helis were flying overhead.
The local news stations showed a fairly small crowd, A.N.S.W.E.R sponsored , of course.
They have made some arrests, mostly for blocking traffic.
One protester, named Mary Bull (I sh*t you not!), said that Lockheed Martin has been fined $235 million dollars over the last 10 years for hanky panky, etc (not sure where she pulled that number out of, altho I have a theory!), and that they wanted to inspect the facilities at Lockheed for WMD.
These folks are sick and shameless. Makes one wonder if A.N.S.W.E.R is also sponsoring the protesters in the streets of Baghdad who now want the Coalition troops out now. It wouldn;t surprise me at all.
A.N.S.W.E.R needs to be banned and its leaders prosecuted for sedition.

"in an effort to gain access to the buildings and carry out an inspection for "weapons of mass destruction"."
This shouldn't be their first choice -- they ought to try to get the MTBE out of California gasoline that is killing Lake Tahoe. But we're dealing with lefties here so I'm not sure they'll think reality means anything???

They ought to have some of the employees who appreciate their jobs go out to 'talk' to them

Anti-war protestors?
Is this a retroactive protest for the war in Iraq, a new war, all wars, some wars or what? I'm so confused.

Kudos to Capt. Greg Kevin (and fellow Fremont HS, Sunnyvale, Alum) and the Sunnyvale Police Department. ORDER! ORDER! WE INSIST! We must NOT allow Communist thugs to hinder us or to interfere with much needed and overdue efforts to rearm.

They used RICO against abortion clinic blockers. Maybe we should do the same to ANSWER While relishing in the fantasy of them getting a taste of their own medicine, I still feel that RICO was wrong then and would be wrong in its applicaion now(though strangely you could make a better case for it with Direct Action than Operation Rescue).

ANSWER is not just organized crime, it is organized treason, financed to a significant degree by the defunct Saddam regime in Iraq through legal fees paid to their American lawyer, Ramsey Clark. The self-same Ramsey Clark is ANSWER's #1 shill and public spokesman.
