Getting rid of Saddam is one thing but replacing him with something more wholesome and stable is something else again.

I agree with your statement. Did we actually research the culture in Iraq/Arabs before we went in to liberate them? They seem extremely ungrateful for the "gift." If our government only spoke to the exiles here in the U.S. they probably got the wrong picture--the Westernized Iraqis are civil, intelligent and used to freedom. The Iraqis who have been in Iraq seem rather medieval and still longing for the oppression.

I think this is the Arab world's last chance, and I am disturbed by their stupidity. While CNN may want to emphasize the fears of Christians, it's the Sunni who have most to fear, as they are perceived as a bigger threat. Could well be a huge civil war.

By "last chance", I mean this should be the last time we bother to fight a "nice" war of liberation - next time they threaten us, we just carpet bomb them into oblivion. If they can't live together in peace, f**k 'em.

I think we need some politicians in Iraq, not generals. We need to show some guile and out-maneuver these assholes.

I find you guilty of believing something posted from CNN and sentence you to reread the article and locate where CNN tells us HOW MANY of these "pilgrims" were exercizing their newfound freedom to protest in the streets.

Part Two is to identify WHY CNN chose not to put a number to this "crowd."
