I usually can't stand to watch Larry King because he's such a lousy interviewer, but I did read this transcript you provided.

Know what I found most revealing? The fact that Scott has been talking to his former girlfriend, Amber Frey, up until 10 days ago!! what's up with that?

There are reports that Scott has been calling Amber up until 10 days ago. I don't know how true the 10 days ago part is.

Scott did continue to call Amber after Laci went missing at least until Dec. 30th when Amber contacted the police. During these conversations, Scott was still pretending to be the single guy, enjoying the holidays, and wooing Amber.
Since Laci's family didn't find out about Amber until mid Jan. and then the cat was out of the bag, it has been reported that Amber let the MPD tape some phone calls from Scott after she went to the police, until mid Jan.

There have been friends of Amber's that have said Scott did all the pursuing. I believe that. I think he thought he was in love with her, but Scott doesn't know what love is.

I believe Amber knew nothing about Laci until after Laci went missing.
