In order to comply with the European Convention on Human Rights, Tony Blair has abolished the death penalty in treason cases . . .
Accidents can and do happen.

Saddam's friend Galloway keeps odd company in Baghdad
"GEORGE GALLOWAY, the Labour backbencher, and Jörg Haider, the far-Right Austrian politician, trampled on the face of George Bush Snr yesterday after they arrived in Baghdad to appeal for an end to sanctions on Iraq. ......

"Yesterday, The Daily Telegraph's correspondent in Baghdad, David Blair, unearthed papers detailing alleged payments from Saddam's intelligence service to Mr Galloway through a Jordanian intermediary." Outrageous!! Hang the bastard!

I agree! Atleast he needs an audit. Should be charged with treason though. What'll they do? I know nothing of the laws over there.

"His projects and future plans for the benefit of the country need financial support to become a motive for him to do more work, and because of the sensitivity of getting money directly from Iraq it is necessary to grant him oil contracts and special commercial opportunities to provide him with a financial income under commercial cover without being connected to him directly."One of these days, the post Iraq studies group will issue a preliminary report entitled
FUN WITH THE BADGDAD FILES
Until then, we will know the traitors by their sudden silence (Daschle/Clinton?) or by the periodic leak, which will serve to shut them up prior to the indictment.
Great post Ivan.....the snowball has started down the hill.

There is precedent in the case of Arthur Lynch, an Irish Nationalist MP who had served against the British state during the Boer War, and who, following his election, was sentenced to death (the sentence was commuted, and he was eventually pardoned; interestingly, he later became a British patriot, and recruited in Ireland for volunteers during the First World War). Quite understandable how a Parnellite would sympathize with the Boers. What excuse does a left-wing Labourite have for taking money from a national-socialist-cum-Stalinist totalitarian state?

BTW, all eleven traitors expelled from the U. S. Senate were Democrats.

LOL! Thanks for the ping, but I'd just read it. I've been rubbing my hands with glee (and have only barely restrained myself from undignified "capering").

Saddam had a number of "little helpers." I'm glad to see some of them being outed, and anxiously await even more.
