Also 'Helen of Troy' was premiering on cable last night, I expect Suzie to use that as a crutch.

Susan has the right to speak her mind. The government can not stop her but American has the freedom to vote with its dollars and remotes. Susan, you have just been voted off the stage.

did you see where Zeffirelli originally wanted Dustin Hoffman cast as Jesus? Yeesh! Yes, I did -- to my utter astonishment. Also, Al Pacino (yikes!) was considered for Jesus ("You're out of order! They're out of order! The whole Nation of Israel is out of order!!!")

I was watching "Law and Order reruns" and "QVC Diamonique Day "(LOL). I also worked in "The Ten Commandments"--hunky
Chuck Heston-In-a-Loincloth Alert!!! There was obviously better programming on while SS's latest project flopped.

EDMONTON - It's hard to imagine feeling let down when Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon is playing your character in a movie. But that's how Dr. Jerri Nielsen reacts to her portrayal in the new tele movie, Ice Bound........
See rest of the story here.
Sarandon and Co. never even met the woman Sarandon was playing! LOL! The basic story was true but a lot of the "details" were made up. How surprising?

Susan is uglying out pretty fast. Her good looks is what made people pay attention to her. Now that she wanking out-- her audience will fall.
Jay Lo anyone? ;)

GSG, forgive me I sounded callous in #20. I should have noted that mine was personal reaction in part, due to the high incidence of cancer in my family.

I try to watch that every Easter. Despite the distraction of a blue eyed veddy British actor playing the part of the Messiah, I think it is the best representation of the Gospel story ever filmed. The extensive use of Jesus' actual words, not just the usual "selection of greatest hits" as in most other Biblical epics, makes the film very thought provoking.
From what little I've heard about Sarandon's film, the real life subject thought the writers murdered her story for the sake of TV plot conventions. However, there was enough publicity surrounding the actual events last summer (Antartctic winter) and the real story was certainly dramatic enough that it should have attracted a decent audience. Sarandon was therefore the box office poison that killed the ratings, something that will not go unnoticed and will affect future casting meetings around Hollywood.

Bud Selig today announced today that baseball would be "contracting" the careers of Tim and Susan. They would be traded to the Nicaraguan leage. Nicaraguan Communism-eer Manuel Noreaga said the two would be more than welcome.

My husband asked me this morning how I thought the movie finished. Considering the desperation CBS showed with all the ads and press about the show, I thought it may have done better than LAST PLACE!!!! LOL LOL LOL.....

I love that movie too...except for the British Jesus who looks exactly like my loser cousin. Jeffrey Hunter in King of Kings was a better Jesus. Also the music is King of Kings is awesome.

Anti-war activist Susan Sarandon counts to one.

Maybe Michael Moore produced and directed this movie. That's what it sounds like, one of his "documentaries."
