I'm wondering if they shouldn't skip the locals and go to the FBI.

Would it not be the FBI's jurisdiction if these threats were coming from across state lines? Anyway, I sure hope he is passing all of this info onto the authorities. Also, deliberately sending viruses can lead to jail time as well can't it?

If the Left ever did a rational assessment of what would happen to them if their little "revolution" started and the numbers of weapons and trained personnel were lined up on both sides and applied, they would do a quick about face and crawl straight back to their holes.

In the meantime, making anonymous wanking threats is about the most they can do. It's exactly comparable to an obscene phone call. Only someone who has neither the means nor the skill to perform the genuine act would do something as silly as "death threats". The words that come to mind are impotent, sniveling, inadequate, and stupid. Based on that, DU members would certainly fit the profile.

Yes, we have wonderful Law Enforcement in California. The media only tells the bad, but I can assure you that every single day our men and women in uniform are out there serving and protecting. When I see how there was a "rogue" cop somewhere,.. I immediately think of all those policmen and women who are putting themselves in harms way daily to protect us all.

I was thinking more on the lines of what passes as "free speech" in some areas. The cops in San Fran really had their hands tied when the protestors seemed to take over the city. On the other hand, Oakland took no BS from those intending to block the entrance to the docks. So, I suspect that it varies from one jurisdiction to the next. I wouldn't put it past the department in San Fran to suggest that death threats are protected speech (unless made against a minority or "protected" class). That's where I was going with this and that is why I suggested going federal.

I certainly don't fault most of the 'man-on-the-beat' type cops, especially in California where political pressures make the job even more difficult than it is already. I know that there's a rogue one that passes through occasionally, but I think more of the rogue-ness is up on top, closer to the chief level.

One thing is for certain - the web site owners have struck a nerve and should keep good records and watch their back. They ticked off the commies who really seem bent on starting a civil uprising of late. I say bring it on, but that's me.

"Anti-war" has nothing to do with reducing violence. Two distinctly different things in their minds, as "anti-war" is a code word for "anti-Bush" or "anti-Republican". This establishes the corollary that to be a Republican or Bush supporter means you are a war-monger, going off to war for capricious reasons, or none at all, for the sheer joy of flexing military muscle.

Pretty much the talking points of the day for the libs. They seem especially shrill in the 'letters to the editor' these days, using the anti-war lead to go on an anti-Bush tirade. The letters are almost cookie-cutter images of each other, indicating that their authors are being told what to say by a "higher" (I should say lower) authority. The "my right to free speech" angle is one of the latest. None are logical, nor do they have any factual backing - just silly tirades that make the left look plain dumb.

Most of these useful (useless?) idiots couldn't put a sentence together if they weren't being played like a marionette.

I've been following this matter of celebrities speak/people respond [and some people reject the celebrity voice], and I must admit I find it fascinating: Hollywood gets so irritated when someone, especially a nobody member of the public, actually "talks back." It seems like celebrities want a one-way street: We talk, and you the people: shut up.

It sort of reminds me of the following FR thread I posted during the FL gov race, which literally caused some people on the Dem sites to collapse, and resulted in a now standard warning on a Dem site: "Please don't feed the freepers." I guess they now say that because they don't want any commentary on the kind of low level dialogue that sometimes results in what I called a:

RAT ATTACK

These left wing kooks and socialists are pissed off and that is a good thing. If I ran one of these hollywood idiot websites, I would publish selected letters from these illigitimate, inarticulate babboons. Of course, I would highlight all the grammatical errors. I would also point out that the letters were written by graduates of the left wing American public education system...

Once again, the left shows it's predilection for violence and stifling free speech in others when it doesn't get it's way.
The website owner, does he know he's got backing?
Does he know that the leftists vomiting on his site are the minority?
(If not, he's got us.)

Hollyweird has always been about self-promotion - getting one’s name and pic in the paper might lead to a part. Of course the casting couch works, too.

It’s clear to me - and to reasonable people on this site - that these denizens of the Hollywarped swamp are preaching anti-Americanism as a form of self-promotion. And that’s no less heinous than the classic form of treason under the heading of providing aid and comfort to the enemy.

As for Rat Attacks - voters should exterminate these pests at the voting booth once and for all.

Of course, all they want is "peace". They are just like the Islaminazis, "We will have peace when we kill all of the infidels".

Another letter writer included the phrase, "F*** you!!!" and urged Mark to, "Get a life and do something worthwhile!!!! Quit picking on those of us who tend to speak out for our right to do so!!!!"

What an odd thing to say while attempting to censor the right of the site owner to speak out.

So public scorn = repression of the leftists' First Amendments right, eh? Leftists can't even quote the Constitution right. Talk about morons.

These sites just went into my favorites folder, and I'm emailing them to EVERYBODY on my contact list!

YOU MUST BE BRAINWASHED BY THE REPUBLICAN PARTY,

Not that their movement is really politically based or anthing. It's "peace" they're after, really. Honestly. (/s)

"If they are anti-war pacifists, they're the most violent people I have ever met in my life. It's really unbelievable,"

Ironic, isn't it?

Yep ! It seems that the Liberals understand only HALF of the formula. The insist that they have RIGHTS (which they do, of course), but they forget/ignore (whatever) that with rights comes responsibility !

Doh !

Thanks for the reminder. I need to save those and send out as well ! . . .

The sponsors of at least two different websites chronicling the anti-war statements and activities of Hollywood celebrities, say they're being inundated with death threats from "anti-war pacifist" supporters of the celebrities.

The Hollywood Halfwits who can't even understand the First Amendment (a trivial chore) can't see anything wrong with this paragraph.

Couldn't she afford to hire any students past Jr. High?
