Thanks for the ping on this one. I saw this in the paper yesterday. I'd pay real money to be that "ugly." Her comments about directors and studios not accepting black actors and actresses rings hollow to me. I may be missing something - which is often likely - but if you're going to start counting actors and race, how does she explain the huge popularity of Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, and Morgan Freeman - all of whom work a LOT, and whose movies make a LOT of money? I also happen to generally like the work released by those five actors ... not because of, or in spite of their race, but because they are fine actors.
