That's not really an option.

His screed Stupid White Men was a bestseller. Clearly, there are a lot of people who think he's some sort of genius.

He needs to be refuted. Ignore him, and you let a liar win the debate by default.

Unfortunately the fact is that he gets a lot of attention, especially from people in their teens and twenties. I frequent some other boards, mostly related to music, and the dominant theme is that Michael Moore is a genius and everything he says is the gospel. I think the best we can do is give factual rebuttals such as this article and gradually try to get people to understand what he really is.
