Coming up, we’re going to be seeing the lowlights from actor Tim Robbins’ tirade against America today. And also, the ad-libbed remark that has a Fox News superstar in some hot water.
But first, President Bush spoke today in the Rose Garden and had this to say about our extraordinary effort in Iraq.

Right now we’ve got Kristinn Taylor, and he’s the co-leader of the Washington, D.C. Chapter of Free Republic. And he’s here to talk to us about an event that he held today in Washington D.C.
Welcome to our show, Kristinn, and tell us about your event where you and other Free Republic people acted as human shields.
KRISTINN TAYLOR, FREE REPUBLIC: That’s right, Joe. We heard about Tim Robbins’ comments threatening Lloyd Grove. And we thought that, you know, he and the other reporters might need protection from Tim Robbins. So we went down there to offer our services as human shields, just in case Robbins was asked a question that he didn’t like. And the reporters were most appreciative of it, I must say.
SCARBOROUGH: I bet they were. Now did anything happen, like, for instance, when he drove up in his limousine and opened the door, did he bump you or did his bodyguard come out and push the human shields out of the way or was it a fairly peaceful day?
TAYLOR: We didn’t even see him. He went in the back door. We were very surprised. You know the National Press Club building, it’s right there on 14th Street in Washington. Secretary of State Colin Powell came out and waved to us and he wasn’t afraid to be around protesters. But you know maybe Tim Robbins’ agent said you know you got a bit of a temper there,...
SCARBOROUGH: Yes.
TAYLOR: ... you might want to go in the back door and not risk it.
SCARBOROUGH: I guess protesters on the right are different from protesters on the left. Later in the transcript
SCARBOROUGH: Kristinn, do the freepers, as the Free Republic organization members are called, have any other plans for Hollywood protests?
TAYLOR: Well, yes, we had a-freepers do great protest at the Oscars, and they were very well received by the general public. I don’t know what the actors thought of them.
But I think a lot of us are just tired of being talked down to. And we’re tired of the hypocrisy of people like Susan Sarandon who complain about boycotts and loss of work when someone like Susan Sarandon was a participate in the campaign to keep Dr. Laura Schlessinger’s TV program off the air. So we’ll be out there going up against Hollywood celebrities who go against what we hold near and dear to us as Americans.
SCARBOROUGH: All right, Kristinn, thank you for being with us and for Free Republic.
