I can't speak for anyone else here, but I can remember sitting in front of the TV and bawling like a baby as that compound burned. Never in my life had or have I seen Government intervention to that extreme.

The next closest worst thing was watching that MacDonald's in San Ysidro where the name-forgotten *sshole shot up thirty some people. I sat in front of the TV and bawled then, too.

It must be divine intervention, since I practically never watch TV and I also saw Anwar Sadat get assassinated on live TV in 1981 or 1982. I don't remember. I remember I couldn't sleep and got up at 3 AM (California Time) and there it was.

Well, all I have to say is (IMHO), unless you've lived in or around Waco, you don't know the Davidians. I lived in Waco and 15 miles from Waco. There was trouble at their "compound" every weekend. They would have shoot-outs all the time, fighting over who was the son of God. I hate that innocent people were killed because of Vernon Howell. But, I know not ALL were innocent of the actions that followed.

It REALLY sounds like the first time you watched that scene was on Waco: Rules of Engagement.

There is a particular slant to that video that McNutty intended, a suborning of the truth that set McVeigh off and has further poisoned the minds of dozens of FR members.
