My point is that under Title 9 football causes a lot of men's sports to be cut, since there are so many members on a football team.
If they allowed women to tryout, perhaps they would count football as a co-ed sports. And we realize that most women would not be able to compete in football at all -- maybe as kickers, that's about it.
I agree that Title 9 is moronic, but it's the law right now and it doesn't look to be changing anytime soon.
Sorry -- I wasn't impugning your post, rather augmenting it. Yours is a good point and a good way to kill Title IX once and for all. If everything was trans-gender then Title IX would have nothing upon which to place its hat.
