I think, (I could be wrong) you don't understand me.
I use any and all mags as I want and see fit in any weapon I desire.
I live in Michigan, we have a somewhat new CCW law here, however it made no difference because I always carry a firearms, and always will, WITHOUT ASKING the "MASTERS" for permission.
I believe if a law violates my rights, I simple ignore it. This might prove costly one day. I might need to have a long court fight (and yes, I plan on going ALL the way to the Supreme Court).
So, If you wanted to hear how I violate federal laws and the laws of my state, you did. Just like a peice of paper DOESN'T give me my rights, niether does/will a piece of paper remove them.

Wild Game, I really expect an answer from you. I would like to hear from an EXPERIENCED AND CONCERNED GUN OWNER LIKE YOURSELF what you have done with those high capacity magazines you purchased post-ban. Yes, I'm going to hold your feet to the fire on this one, since it's your thread and you are the one who cited your personal experience as an example of how the ban "had no effect."
To: Wild Game
Sorry, posted while you were posting your reply...ignore.

Nope. The civilian builders I mentioned did not develop their guns at the request of the military. They developed them privately, and then sold the designs to the military. Big difference. Now, instead of buying US designed weapons, they buy what other country's designs, like FN.
Innovation was driven by capitolism, not military need. The desire to make money. You can't do that any more. Why, because new manufactured machine guns can't be sold or built by civilians. Period. No matter what paper work you are willing to go through. It has been that way since '86 or '87. That is why a M16 that would have sold for $500-$700 before FOPA now sells for $2500-$4000. Fixed supply.

Well, I'm sorry to report to you that the entire premise of your thread is blown. The AW ban has indeed affected you: it's made you a criminal for exercising your 2A rights. I'd call that a MAJOR effect.
To: Wild Game
What part of "shall not be infringed" are you having a problem with?
This is the bottom line, no local, state or federal government has the authority to infringe on my God given right to possess any firearms.
And just so you know,I don't include an M1A2 Abrahms as being a firearm.

Spare you the sanctimony?????? I can't do that, because its PART OF OUR CONSTITUTION! Why is murder wrong?? Our laws are based on Judiac/Christian beliefs and morals. Like it or not, our freedom is because of such sactimonious beliefs.
LOL! YES, spare me the sanctimony.
Judeo-Christian principles have nothing to do with it. The ban is UnConstitutional. You have no idea what you're talking about and you're not making sense. The same people who wrote the Constitution with its Judeo-christian principles supported the right to keep and bear arms. Its our second amendment in fact! You're ranting like a typical gun grabber.
I've worked the streets for a long time (Detroit EMS), and if finding a "hot handgun" in Detroit ain't all that easy, I would venture to say finding a street gun in lesser rat infested dumps would be evern harder.
LOL! "Worked the streets" ? Dont tell me youre a cop.. I cant bear the idea of someone so clue less on the taxpayer dole.
And, gee.. there's no drugs there either I bet.. Nothing but more foolishness and anecdotal evidence.
You're all wet wild game. You make no more sense than the typical gun grabber.
Now about this bull about "all they need to do is read a newspaper to find out who has guns."
Yes, it's a brand new concept called the classifieds. You should read them sometime.
They have a section in there called "guns" You find one, and then you go buy it. Look in the "Tradin Post" some time. Cost you about a buck.
Like I said, foolishness. You make no more sense than the typical gun grabber. Your comments are an insult to the intelligence of everyone here.
Well, ALL THE DRUG DEALERS NEED TO DO is buy and use a SIMPLE POLICE SCANNER AND THEY"LL KNOW when the raids are coming! I listen to them all the time! The only problem is, criminals ARE LAZY AND STUPID. A police scanner could save them 10-20 years, but they don't use scanners now they?
That's irrelevant. More foolishness.
If you were to take the other side, you'd sound like the fools that think the criminals are going to start using 50 BMG's for drive by's! Oh, maybe if they read the newspaper!!!!
Yes, pick up the "Tradin Post" or any classifieds listing. all they need to do.
"Sheesh" indeed.
Your foolishness, childishness, lack of reason and disingenuousness is truly noteworthy.
Ridiculous. And a waste of good electrons.

What was the purpose of this thread then? You know full well what the impact is. You know full well that you could be and probably are breaking some laws. And yet the whole premise of this thread is that the AWB didn't affect you.
Will you still be saying that when the BATFags are kicking your wife in the gut, and stomping your cats skull in as they ransack your house?
To: Wild Game
My high-capacity magazine purchased have been stopped because the cost of hicaps is prohibitive. This means that 1) I will not sell any of my hicaps -- they are too rare, and 2) I cannot seem to secure or afford hicaps at this time.
I am directly and adversely effected by this ban.

How about answering my question, Wild Game? Seeing as how you are the one who spouted off about all the wonderful mags you've bought since the ban and how you think the ban hasn't affected you...
Something tells me the only magazine Wild Game is familiar with says "National Enquirer" on the cover.

I know. I also don't wear a seat belt all the time.
I've talked on the cell-phone through cities that have banned it during driving.
Don't keep all my locked up.
I buy my cigarettes out of my home State.
I'm a PROUD criminal! Makes me feel the way Adams, Jefferson, and Madison must have felt!

Listen, I applaud your exercising of your 2A rights. I wish all Americans did the same.
However, I have to take MAJOR EXCEPTION to your posting a thread with the obnoxiously stated assertion that the AW ban hasn't affected your rights, and implying that it hasn't affected others either. You then followed this up with a plea to vote a straight Republican ticket.
Either you believe the premise of your thread, or you don't. I wish that if you don't believe it, though, that you hadn't posted it.
To: Lazamataz
Where are the gun haters?? Let me know!
www.cheapthandirt.com tons of high cap mags.

Nothing wrong with that. He/She's exercising 1st amendment rights.
Personally, I only vote a Pro-2A ticket. If the Republican is a anti-gun weenie, I vote Libertarian. I urge others to do the same.

Okay, I give up here--which side are you on? What exactly are you arguing? You come out of the gate saying that the AW ban didn't affect you or others, then admitted that you violated Federal Law. Obviously this violation was a direct result of the AW ban.
To: dinodino
I hope they leave this thread up. It is a shining example of the hypocrisy of those that say we shouldn't vote on our principles, and for our rights.
