Maddy Albright, the failed Secretary of State during the second half of the failed Clinton administration, simply will not go away. That quality lead some people to ask if Albright and press corpse Helen Thomas "were separated at birth." I don't think they're separated at all in their hatred for Bush, as the sound bites below from Albright's appearance on Thursday night's Hardball with Chris Matthews illustrate.

Albright complains that the Bush administration sees the world as "black and white." Liberals hate that, because to them everything is gray. There is no good or evil. Matthews challenged Albright on Bill Clinton's blasting of the Bush administration's foreign policy recently by saying: "Our paradigm now seems to be something terrible happened to us on September 11th, and that gives us the right to interpret all future events in a way that everyone else in the world must agree with us - and if they don't they can go straight to hell."

Albright tried to weasel out of this by saying she "wasn't there to hear President Clinton," but Matthews didn't let her get away with it. So she instantly let the vitriol fly, specifically about President Bush saying that you're either with us or against us. She goes on to blame us for what the French and Germans did - all to an incredulous Matthews. Next she whined that Bush wasn't interested in any treaties or international institutions. That's code for Kyoto and the international criminal court treaties that will sap our sovereignty and economic power. This is the same woman who said the US shouldn't be the largest superpower. I wonder if she'd have felt that way when we were fighting the USSR and the Nazis?

During the war, MSNBC has had Hardball up at the same time as Fox News with Brit Hume.

Is this a permanent slot? I hope not....I can't watch both and will choose the Fox panel over Chris, whose show I would hate to miss on a regular basis.

Short, fat, ugly, big mouth, poor taste in jewelry, and very likely would give their lives for a 15 minute intimate session with Bill (or Hillary) Clinton. Too many similarities and peculiarities to not be closely related.
