To: BunnySlippers Don't you think that if the bodies had been in the water for four months some of the scavengers in the bay would have devoured the flesh? No. Cyril Wecht is the grand daddy of forensic pathology in the United States. Two days ago he said that the head and legs should NOT have deteriorated to the point where they detached from the body. His theory was that there was a cord, rope or wire around her extremities that were holding her down with weights.

More to the point is: Why was he in San Diego, with Mexico just a 45 minute drive away? Ummm, maybe because he is from SD.

My prediction: At some future time, one of Nicole's children will kill OJ for revenge. This site is fraught with hopeless optimism.
It's ironic but if one of his children killed him, I'll bet they are tried, convicted for murder and serve time like their daddy.

Innocent until proven guilty only applies in a court of law, during a trial.
We're free to speculate as much as we want.
Anybody who doesn't realize that is clueless.

I, too, suspect that when all the facts are out we won't have to worry that an innocent man is being railroaded.

The only problem is when that speculation and opinion shades over in utter expressed contempt for other views, such as in the Westerfield case, where anyone who dared to opine that Westerfield might be guilty was immediately set upon by HORDES of Westy supporters with venomous wrath, called a "dupe," "stupid," "brainwashed," etc.
That isn't tolerable.

I agree. This guy will be tried with utter dispassion. The only thing people will be interested in is whether he's guilty or not, not whether is a member of an historically oppressed minority, a victim of racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.

I dated a "frat-boy", and almost married him. There is a certain type of male that joins a fraternity.
I always call Shep on FoxNews a frat-boy. Am I wrong for calling Shep a frat-boy. Frat-boys that I knew were different than the other boys on campus. This was 20 years ago, but they knew about Polo Shirts, the cool sunglasses to wear, and the cool shoes to wear. They were cute, but many of them were full of themselves.
The man I married is definitely not a frat-boy. He doesn't know anything about clothes, and doesn't want to. He was a computer geek. I'm sure some would call that a derogatory term, but I think it is appropriate.

Actually there is reason to get life insurance on a non-breadwinner if you have kids.
If I died, my husband would have to hire someone to take care of our 3 kids while he works. It would be very expensive.
They were having a baby, so the timing could have been related to having a kid.
(I think he's guilty, but not for that reason.)

Rancho Santa Fe or Solana Beach, both of which are in northern SD County. He went to high school at University of San Diego High School (my h.s. as well).

I doubt that he "cracked" during the long nine hour ride back to Modesto from Santiago. This is one cold, mechanical person who will deny everything. I'm sure they pruposely drove him back rather than flying him back so as to play psych games with him and get him to break down. Nine hours is a long time but still, he's not the kind to confess. He's evil.

He was going to run to the safety of Mexico, just like thousands of illegal aliens do, routinely, after leaving a wake of busted up Americans and crimes against American citizens. He is one of the few, who didn't make it.
Bet the rent, there are thousands of murderers/criminals who have fled to the safety of Mexico.

Looks like he stopped using Grecian Blue.
Bet ya a $1.00 he was getting ready to bolt to Mexica. He sold her car for money. Tried to sell his house for money. Police impounded the resold car and boat so he couldn't sell that. The house sale was stopped. Most recently he cashed in his golf membership for 25K. Now tell me this is a coincidence. All he was doing while living with his parents in Sandiago was waiting for his golf membership check to skip off to Mexico. This is also why he changed his appearance. He thought even though he was being followed that he'd still pull it off.
This is one cold, mechanical person with an ego the size of the universe. May he get the death sentece soon. Even a moron could connect the dots here.

I"m a chick. I use the word "frat-boy". It has the connotation it does, not because of how folks use it, but because of how frat-boys themsleves behave. Any negative connotation is earned and deserved. Words may start out meaning one thing, but they aquire the meaning of *that which they describe.*
I live very near the University of Richmond, and within a half-mile of a block of Fraternity activity buildings.
On a Saturday night one may stand outside on ones front porch and hear a constand background noise "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooT until the college shuts them down for the evening.
These young fresh fellows have the interests of callow young men, partying, getting drunk, getting laid, and Hooooooooting. They are stupid and loutish in the way of most very young and very priviledged young men.
Don't get me wrong. Fraternal organizations usually become something more valuable in grad school. But any civic activity performed by the undergrad frats around here is pretext for the parties and drinking activities.

I'd like to hear more about that college girlfriend who disappeared after spending time with Scott. This guy is so cool that I almost get the impression through his cold arrogance that dodging the authorities is old hat. He'sas detached and indeifferent as ever. Maybe he killed this college girl, got away with it and was over confident with Laci. He might think he can get away with anything.

Yeah, but he's also not real bright... He kept blabbing early on after her disappearance - much to the attorney's dismay.
To: Glenn
The more the public knows about this monster the better.Wrong. His defense attorney(s) will get discovery on what the police have in the course of time, but there is no reason why the police should show their hand before it is absolutely necessary.
