Cell phone! LOL!!! That one took me a minute!!

You know, I wonder how long he will be allowed such free and easy phone privileges. In the county jail here, prisoners are only allowed to call out COLLECT. So if the person doesn't take the call, too bad.

Remember how Scott was always moving from place to place? It seemed like he never stayed any place for long. I bet just being stuck in there is driving him crazy. He's got the arraignment to look forward to right now (big deal: "Mr. Peterson, how do you plead?" "Not guilty." "Next!" His attorney might ask for bail, that'll be denied, and that's all--Scott will look tearfully at his Mom, and he'll be back to the cell.)

After Monday's appearance, there'll be a while, I imagine, b/f he gets to do anything but sit in his cell. No golf, no swimming, no nothing. He's gonna go stir-crazy. SOR-REEEEEEE, Scott! None of this HAD to happen!!!!

Did she know Scott????? Maybe he has killed a lot of women and dumped them into the bay..... May be a serial killer of pregnant women.

Exactly, Jackies theory could backfire on scooter, could say he either got his idea from all these missing in the bay or that he IS the serial killer of pregnant women!!

Amber has NOT heard from SP since she came forward.

Earlier today, I heard on Fox that he tried to get in touch with Amber just 2 weeks ago, can't remember who said it, maybe Laurie Dhue, I think she was the one who was on when I heard that.

Yeah, LE says those reports are false. I heard them too. Rita Cosby claims to have reliable LE sources so who knows?

I know some of it isn't confirmed by MPD, just repeating what I heard today. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if he did try to get in touch with her recently, though!!!!

I dont think Rita Cosby has any sources in the Modesto PD...they have been really tight lipped. I think her sources might be in the FBI, who only knew what was going on in SD...

Some helpful information:

Clinical pictures in antisocial personality:
Typically intelligent, spontaneous, and very likeable on first acquaintance, antisocial personalities are deceitful and manipulative, callously using others to achieve their own ends. Often they seem to live in a series of present moments, without consideration for the past or future. Also included in the general category of antisocial personality are "hostile psychopaths," who are prone to acting out the impulses in remorseless and often senseless violence.

Ability to put up "a good front" to impress and exploit others, projecting blame onto others for their own socially disapproved behavior. Often antisocial individuals are charming and likeable, with a disarming manner that easily wins friends. Typically, they have a good sense of humor and an optimistic outlook. If detected in lies they will often seem sincerely sorry and promise to make amends - but not do so. They seem to have good insight into other people's needs and weaknesses and are very adept at exploiting them. For example, many psychopaths engage in unethical sales schemes in which they use their charm and the confidence they inspire in others to make "easy money." They readily find escuses and rationalizations for their antisocial conduct, typically projecting the blame onto someone else. Thus they are often able to convince other people - as well as themselves - that they are free of fault.

Inability to maintain good interpersonal relationships. Although initially able to win the liking and friendship of other people, antisocial personalities are seldom able to keep close friends. Irresponsible and egocentric, they are usually cynical, unsympathetic, ungrateful, and remorseless in their dealings. They seemingly cannot understand love in others or give it in return. As Horton, Louy, and Coppolillo (1974) have expressed it, the psychopathic personality "continues to move throught the world wrapped in his separateness as though in an insulator, touched rarely and never moved by his fellow man".

Anticosial personalities pose a menace not only to chance acquaintances byt also to family and friends. Manipulative and exploitive in sexual relationships, they are irresponsible and unfaithful mates. Although they often promise to change, they rarely do so for any length of time.

Many of the preceding characteristics may be found in varying degrees in neurotic individuals, in those dependent on drugs, and in those showing other maladaptive behavior patterns. In the case of the antisocial personality, however, these characteristics are extremely pronounced and occur apart from other "symptoms" of psychopathology. Whereas most neurotic endividuals, for example, are beset by worry and anxiety and have a tendency to avoid difficult situations, antisocial personalities act on their impulses fearlessly, with little or no thought for the difficulties they may be incurring.

There is little disagreement that Scott Peterson was a great golfer during his four years at University of San Diego High School.

But there is a vast difference of opinion about his character and personality while he earned accolades on the links. To his coach, Peterson was a model player. To some of his teammates, he was full of himself.

SNIP

"He was a tremendous kid and a tremendous golfer," recalled Dave Thoennes, who coached Peterson all four years in high school. "He was both popular and a leader."

But that's not the Peterson teammate Ed Ventura remembers.

"He was the biggest snob," Ventura said. "He was always talking about how good his golf game was and how much better he was than the others."

SNIP

Thoennes recalled Peterson as being quiet, yet confident, always ready with a smile and willing to answer the call as a mentor to others on the team. His leadership blossomed his sophomore year, after playing his freshman year alongside Phil Mickelson, now one of the top players on the PGA Tour. Mickelson said he could not remember Peterson.

When Mickelson left, Thoennes recalled, Peterson filled the void, becoming the team leader in a seamless transition.

"When it came time, Scott stepped up," he said.

Ventura, however, said Peterson made sure his teammates knew who the new team leader was, irritating them with his arrogance.

"He made sure we all knew how good he was," he said.

The team did look to Peterson, but because they knew his ability would lead them to win after win, Ventura said.

"We always want him to play, but when it came to wanting to be around him we would stay away," he said. "He was a loner. At school he was the kind of guy you would walk by and not even notice."

Peterson never really socialized, and when he did he stayed pretty much to himself, Ventura said.

"He was a good golfer, that's all," he said.

Scott is a full-blown sociopath, and, after hearing his mother and father speak earlier tonight, it is evident that Scott's sociopathy is a genetic overload.

I do believe this description fits him very well and possibly his mother too. He sees no wrong or consequence in anything he does.
