My husband is married to the devil. But I married well. I married way above my level! LOL Our THIRTIETH anniversary will be June 30. You can mail presents and money gifts to me at ...... hee hee hee 30 years went by in a flash.
And our babies, they grew up in a flash. Baby is almost 19. Daughter is almost 20. Oldest son is almost 22. Time flies. Laci and her baby will never experience the fun times like we did, going to the park, birthday parties, Christmases, learning to walk, talk, ride a bike, drive, etc............

I missed the news about Scott Peterson's occupation. What was it? He seemed to be a man of leisure ever since Dec. 24. Yet, he seemed to have a degree of wealth. Also, how old is he? He doesn't look over 30.

Two things:
This is fun, even though it is a dark subject. It is fun discussing the case with all of you. We used to do this all the time. We would get a thread going and it would become the "hot" thread of the day. It was a blast. Haven't felt that sense of comeradery here for a long time, a cold chill was blowing over... NO WAIT! those were LITTLE timmy robin's words.... LOL Seemed for a while on FR there was so much infighting and flaming. This is great tonight!
Also, Twit and I once got into similar thing like devil, etc. I said I was married to the most wonderful man on earth. Another freeper gal same same thing. Twit said he didn't realize he was married to both of us, but it had to be him, being the most wonderful man on earth and all! Got to meet Twit at the DC rally Oct. 1998. That was a fun rally. Serious but fun.
Freeping is like that!

I didn't catch this dipstick atty you just saw. But I wonder if it's the same dipstick i saw last night? In his 30s or so, spikey short hair (maybe blond) with oh-so-trendy glasses (a la Alton Brown, FoodTV, but not as cute), and a REALLY dippy bow tie? I think his name was Bernie Grimm or something like that. Hard to take a guy seriously when he's wearing a bozo-clown bow tie

or like you mentioned, a way out defense... I don't think so after viewing that clip where, when he was arrested, he had 10k and his brother's ID on him... What does that say of whom knew what in the Peterson family?

As I saw the faces of our soldiers who lost their lives in Iraq in this war, and noticed that their ages were similar to the ages of my kids... recalling what was going on in our lives 18-22 years ago as our children were born, it broke my heart to think of the families who lost their sons and daughters in the war. I believe the war was necessary, I just grieve for the fallen heroes. God be with them all. I feel the same about Laci's family, God be with them.

Does SNOTTY Peterson look more like his brother's ID now that he changed his own appearance, hair color, etc.????

I think jail changes people--instantly, I mean. (Of COURSE it would change them over time, lol!)
One minute he's holding a full hand, he's in control of his movements and location, then suddenly he's thrown into a position where he has to be totally passive and submissive. That is, with the police and jailers, that's the only way he's allowed to be. And he does virtually nothing for himself, all of a sudden. Food is brought to him, all clothes are jail issue. Shoes are soft, slipper-like things, also jail issue. The TV? He hasn't got a remote for it.
And the most precious, lovely part of it all is this, the comments you and others made above: that he DIDN'T EXPECT to be arrested. Sounds incredible, but I fervently hope that that's the case! B/C that means he was unpleasantly surprised. Just like his victims, Laci and her family, were definitely unpleasantly surprised!

He was a fertilizer salesman. I don't know where he's getting the money to live the way he does.

Wasn't Bernie, he is a trip, but somebody even more looney. He may be staking out a seat at the commentators table. Somebody has to take that side ...and get paid for it.
To: runningbear
What does that say of whom knew what in the Peterson family? Bingo. Also, you would think he had everything he needed to get 'out of dodge' ASAP. That's why I can't figure out why he was fiddling around with going to the golf course. Unless he really felt like he couldn't lose the surveillance guys. I'm sure he didn't think they would have a warrant to arrest him so quickly - like someone said, before Easter and the runaround on the quality of the DNA - he probably thought he had more time.....
