Not sure, I've heard the brother in PA on a phone interview, and I seem to remember thinking it odd that he called Scott his "brother, yet he had a different last name and, I also have a memory of his talking about a large gap in years between (Scott being much younger). Could be wrong, just what I'm thinking.

Brother was talking about the marina, and how he knew there was a witness to Scott being there that day and how wrong it was for the media to keep reporting that the police had not been able to verify Scott's alibi. He was upset with the police. Said his sister had been down there and had found witnesses.

No &hit, police could verify, that isn't the issue is it? So someone sees you bringing the boat out of the water about 12:45 pm on 12/24, sure didn't do any fishing that day, did you? 90 miles one way, all that distance, left at 9:30, what's that you say, said you went to the office first, then on a spur of the moment thing decided to do some fishing? Thanks Scott, put yourself right smack where the bodies are found, and no, I don't think anyone is out to frame wittle scotty, no matter what momma says.

Let's not forget the $250k life insurance policy. That was taken out last summer, I believe it was July. That's pretty danged far in advance and would constitute considerable premeditation!

Maybe none of these actions by itself is particularly compelling, but when you add together the life insurance policy, cement block-making, secret boat purchase, etc etc etc, it sure gives a total picture of premeditation, don't you think?

I agree, it was premeditated! He did not have enough time to make cement bucket anchors if he killed her by "accident" after a confrontation about the affair. I still say that she may never have known about his double life...if she knew , her family would have known!

OMG, Jackie. I went to a baby shower today for a very good friend of mine. She is due May 24th - so she's about 8 mos. pregnant. Her husband's name is Scott, but he is definitely no Snotty. It was just weird to think that Laci was at the same place in her pregnancy when she was so quickly and wrongly taken away from her family and those who loved her. KInd of sobering in light of the current news. No one mentioned a thing about Laci and I sure as heck wasn't going to bring it up. So sad.

As I remember, Jackie gave up two children early, in her teens. This family has such a convuluted dynamic.

I saw that somewhere yesterday, too. She had given up two children for adoption by the time she was 19. That would explain her behavior toward Scott then. Sucks to be her...she kept the rotten one. Makes ya wonder what Scott's biological father is like and if he doesn't possess psychopathic tendencies too.

Boy Jackie I hope they find all the rest of EVERYTHING to hang this guy. I hope they find her skull and every piece of bone. For one thing if she was strangled, her hyoid bone in the neck will be broken or crushed. I keep thinking of that statement that they had come to the conclusion that "she had died as the result of a violent crime". That tells me there must have been blood to find. Not just his. Maybe she dug him a good one and he bled. But if she bled, that will be very devestating against him. I am dying for this to go to trial so we can find out all the details. I don't think this guy will walk. I just don't see the mood in the people and there isn't the racial issue either.

CC, I bet you had a pain in your heart while you were trying to smile...this case has brought alot of us together because of our concern for this beautiful girl and her first-born child, Connor. I see her brilliant smile and I think "why could this EVIL be permitted to take thier lives from them?" Well justice has caught up with this piece of $hit and he will have a special place in HELL.. meantime I hope he will be someone's beehach in prison...he's lookin' all spiffy and blonde right now.
