According to the post I was replying to, the school was San Luis Obispo. I heard the guest on "On the Record" mention her name; I had no idea who she was or how she was linked until I read about it here on FR.

I don't know too many fishermen who go fishing alone unless it is close by in the local streams or ponds etc..i.e., close to home. I'm curious as to whether he had fished there before. We are creatures of habit.

Yes, the wanted guy had allegedly just murdered a detective a day or so ago, hadn't he? Would the black band have been to mourn the murdered detective?

Close...well, okay, not too close. It wasn't UCLA. She was a student at San Luis Obispo when SP was there. The investigative reporter who did a lot of work on her case said tonight on some program (don't ask me now which one!) that he had not seen any connection with SP, none had ever surfaced.

So aside from just being in the same town with the missing (for 10 years or so) and presumed dead young woman, there doesn't seem to be anything there.

I'd be interested though in hearing someday why it was he left his first college in Arizona before his first semester was even over. His parents say they never asked him why and he never told them...from what some people say (and I can't find articles about it, only posts on some forums) there was a missing/dead girl there at the same time. But there may be nothing to that either.

What is your theory, that they did it much later, cause they would have had to do it right away, as they already said on T.V. that the bodies had been in the water a long time. I think it was one of the MPD that said it tonite at their news conference.

Someone who lives in Modesto, saying that news channels will go live as soon as SP arrives in Modesto at the jail. Said the streets are lined with people. So far no live report on Fox or MSNBC yet. They say any time now.

My friend of 30 years built Scott and Laci's pool last year.

Several months ago he was approached by the lead detective on the case.......asking if he had left several bags of concrete at the job site. Scott told the cops he had. My friend replied that he always gets it pumped from the truck.

The detective also said their were traces of concrete in the boat.

They've suspected for some time that's how he disposed of the body........and I'm thinkin' they have enuff to fry this guy now.

I'm bettin' my buddy is going to be on court TV.......
