Dang, don't they do DNA tests on mummies and such on the Discovery Channel?

They need to get Grissom on this case.

That's why I am starting to doubt that this is Laci. I think they would HAVE the results by now. If the results were negative, then they might drag their feet, trying to milk the situation as a stress-factor for Scott, hoping he might do something that they can use in the circumstantial case they are trying to build.

I mean: put it in the blender, run it through the centerfuge, tease it out with the solution, put it on the gel, put the voltage to it, and LOOK at the lines! How long does it take?

I also worry about falsification when it takes an inappropriately long time to process evidence. It can sometimes take longer to plausibly fabricate evidence than it does to find it. Some people say I am overly suspicious of law enforcement officials, and maybe sometimes I am. But if they say "yes, it was Laci and Connor" then immediately cremate the bodies after an extended analysis period, I will be very skeptical.

Mummies still have flesh on them.

As I understand it there was not much flesh left on the washed up body, so they may be trying to get DNA from bone marrow.
