Due to a lack of qualified trumpet players, the end of the world has been postponed two weeks.

OK. In other words, you are relying on the bomber's operational ineptitude.

In a word, yes. In Israel, I'm sure they have a 'profile' of sorts, to spot potential suicide bombers. Profuse sweating, muttering of Koranic verses, etc. These bombers are not out for a walk in the park. Better that there be plenty of armed citizens than not.

In fact, seems like I recall hearing that earlier in the conflict, the Palis would pull Colon Willoughby style stunts, popping up with a assualt rifle and gunning down as many as possible. Armed citizens cut their careers very short and resulted in the current suicide bombings.

Vigilante groups in LA are now roaming the treets, forcing young women to disrobe to prove they're NOT concealing anything..

Is it Friday nite already?

Like I said you need help.

And I'm asking for it.

The BEST answer I got was to hope that the suicide bomber was stupid.

Beyond that...I was told to look for "Muslims" wearing parkas. I was told that the armed citizen would somehow shoot the terrorist before he set the bomb off. (Will the terrorist give a two-minute warning prior to detonation?)

Shuttle back over to the Dump-o-crap forums.

Shut up, newbie. I'm merely pointing out that there are some problems that societal goods like unrestricted carry won't fix, and that we shouldn't try selling them as if they WOULD fix them.

"fantacize"? I'm not THAT kinky - LOL! ....and actually, I AM concerned. I know what I'll WANT to do to any muslim if one of 'em gets on a local school bus and blows up, but I don't know how I'll reconcile what I want with my reluctance to join in anarchy.

Which is less likely to be useful here in the US.

There are SOME interpersonal violence problems (not many) that unrestricted concealed carry will not resolve. Better to simply acknowledge that those particular problems are not soluble and focus on the larger set of problems that are soluble than to use a "snake oil" argument.

BTW...The Islamic center where the Sgt. that fragged the troops in Kuwait belonged to is right across the freeway from USC and close to Felix Chevrolet also.

No one on this thread was advocating "unrestricted concealed carry".

Exactly. So we shouldn't pretend that everyone packing hit fixes that flavor of nutcase.

Post 5. Basically, he bemoans the lack of armed citizens in California, as if the presence of armed citizens would stop someone intent on suicide...

" ... Exactly. So we shouldn't pretend that everyone packing hit fixes that flavor of nutcase."

You seem to have veered off in the weeds here. Did you read where I said that these nutcases were fixable? Or that carrying a gun was a cure for these nutcases?

I thought your original inquiry that I replied to was ... what do you do if you see a guy with a bomb and you have a gun.

I politely said you can come to the defense of others. End of story. You must have me confused with someone else.
