Excellent article, ping.
Excellent article is right. This Liberal went from . . .
Two years ago I voted for Vice President Al Gore in the 2000 presidential election. Upon George W. Bush's ascension into the White House, I found myself furious with him and vowed I would do whatever I could to campaign for the next future Democratic presidential candidate in 2004.To:
War is a necessary function of freedom. Those who enslave others must be forced to step down from their despotic positions of power. They will not simply relinquish it. Although it was unpopular to do so, President Bush had the heart to do the right thing. He took action. He sent troops to free innocent people. He knew what it was to truly love humanity, and for that, the president has my admiration and respect. More importantly, he now has my vote. All because of the principled leadership of President Bush.
I can't get this image out of my mind. What a Sadist Saddam was . . .
Citizens held captive in the Mahjar prison in Baghdad are beaten twice a day and women are regularly raped by their guards. Those locked in the prison's underground are kept in rows of rectangular steel boxes roughly the size of a coffin until they either confess or die. The boxes are opened only for one hour a day and prisoners are fed only liquids to stay alive.
I hadn't read this before, meekie; he was truly an evil man with a truly evil regime. Satan must be most unhappy Saddam has been dethroned. Thank God for President Bush.
I really do think he is, dansangel, one by one; and then, each one of those goes and converts others away from the Rats, two by two.
Just today in our breakroom at work a woman called me over and asked me to please when the campaign for President starts again to let her know that she was no longer going to sit back and let others do the work. She sits in front of some extreme liberals and she says that it just stuns her the things that they say. She says they sit there and talk and coming out of their mouths are nothing but lies. It is all she can do to turn around and list their ignorances. She said the other day one of them was whining and they kept saying IRAN instead of IRAQ, and she finally turned and said, excuse me but if you are going to talk about this at least get the country right, IT IS IRAQ, not iran. She is a real reserved quiet lady, unlike me. I am now starting to send her good reads such as this. She also has relative in Austria that emailed her their hate of the U.S. And she has plans to email back but is getting her ducks in order. This article will help.
Amen !
I still am trying to imagine being locked in a steel box, coffin sized for 23 hours a day. For anyone with claustrophobia or who has experienced a claustrophobic moments(s), what a horrible torture that must be! What am I saying? How horrible even if you aren't or haven't even. How much worse, if you are/have.
I cannot imagine....I honestly cannot. And being fed liquid as "food," oh the hunger pain on top of the confinement....and then the atrophy pain, too. No, I cannot imagine this experience....
