Please let the campus and the so-called 'supportive' Cardinal know what a travesty it is to allow them to speak at a Catholic school.
Baccalaureate Speakers
U.S. Rep. Linda Sánchez, D-Lakewood
Linda Sánchez was sworn in as a representative of the 39th Congressional District this January, joining her sister, Rep. Loretta Sánchez, in Congress. Linda and Loretta are the first women of any relation to ever serve together in Congress. Linda, a Democrat, represents residents of several south Los Angeles County communities, including Lakewood, Paramount, Long Beach, and Cerritos. She was recently appointed to the Government Reform and Judiciary committees. Before running for public office, Sánchez earned her bachelors degree at the University of California, Berkeley, in Spanish literature with an emphasis in bilingual education. She later received her law degree from UCLA, and spent years in grassroots activism as an employment lawyer upholding workers rights. She is the sixth of seven children born to immigrant parents from Mexico. Im hoping to be the one to help awaken a political interest in young people, women, and people of color, she said recently. Sánchez lives in Lakewood with her husband, Mark, and their Old English sheepdog, Baloo.
And...
U.S. Rep. Loretta Sánchez, D-Santa Ana
Loretta Sánchez represents the 47th Congressional District, which includes the Orange County cities of Anaheim, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Fullerton. She first was elected to Congress in November 1996, and was re-elected to her current term last November. While in office, Sánchez has focused on issues such as education, crime reduction, economic development, and protections for senior citizens. Her standing as the ranking woman on the House Armed Services Committee and as the third-ranking Democrat of the Select Committee for Homeland Security reflects the contributions of women in national defense in this time of war. She attended Chapman University in Orange, where she was selected in 2002 to serve as the universitys first Latina member of the Board of Trustees. She received her bachelors degree in economics in 1982 (voted "Business Student of the Year"), and then entered American University in Washington, D.C., to obtain her masters in business administration with an emphasis on finance, which she received in 1984. Sánchez is married to Stephen Brixey, a securities trader.

No, I am a Catholic (of the Christian type you mention) that believes all things are possible with God
(LOL) You cannot chill my faith As Catholics, our Faith is in Jesus Christ alone, not in any mortal man or men. This is why we believe our Church will endure forever: Because Jesus Christ is the Head, and His Body, the Church (His Church) is eternal.
"My goal is to see the Catholic Church put in receivership so that it is scoured clean from top to bottom." Scoured clean from top to bottom is my goal also. put in receivership is a real possibility in some areas
Since you and I are Christians why would it be wrong for us to take communion together? As Catholics, to receive Communion would mean you are in FULL communion with. You would be stating publicly that you believe and practice fully what the Church proclaims. Which is obviously not true.
Nonetheless, if you really have faith in what you profess...I'm totally with you.
Great! Visit my website:CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS FOR LIFE , and let me know what you think.
Have a very blessed Easter!
