Robbins supports Democratic wars and opposes Republican ones. Almost everyone on Free Republic supports Republican wars and opposes Democratic ones.

Such devotion to principle. Not.

I was raging long ago against both, along with any military effort that doesn't defend Americans and their property in the United States. Others unabashedly support all such wars, assuming that the U.S. government has done and can do no wrong.

You who picketed him, though, as well as Robbins, are worthless hypocrites.

Care to explain that statement?

Due to recent military actions by our awesome armed forces, the world is becoming safer from the murderous violence of the Mohammedan Cult. The invasion of Iraq has worked to lessen this threat. More is likely needed - though I hope not. ANY war should be avoided if at all possible.

Any vision of geopolitics that implies we can just sit in our living rooms and wait on a war to come here is beyond naieve - have you been even marginally aware of the history of, oh, say the last 200 years?

This war along with the actions in Afghanistan DOES "protect Americans". Believe it!

LOL, doesn't that kinda assume that you know what our position was on other wars, such as the Balkans? Oh, yup, that's right, you told me above what my position was on previous conflicts.

How convenient. Well, since you know what I'm thinking, no sense debating with you, LOL. Some people's brains are like an echo chamber, filled with the empty resonances of their own voices from which they create their own individual political reality they call social reality. That's what I was thinking.

But then, greybird, you already knew that.

Hey, Moron, you still think it is ok to bomb innocents to keep sex scandals off the TV screen? Clinton Killed over 5000 innocent Bosnian Serbs to keep monica off the TV. I mean, did you ever stop to think WHY we picketed Democrats?

And by the way, NOT ONE OF US ever held a sign against any war we fought in during Clinton, jerk, we stood by our troops, not spit at them like you do, you foul stench.

I don't recall a lot of opposition by Republicans to the previous administration's foreign policy and use of force (with the possible exception of the "wag the dog" bombing during the Lewinsky saga). On the other hand, where were the liberal Hollywood stars and other protesters during the Clinton Administration.... per Janeane Garanimal (I know, Garafolo), it "wasn't hip" to oppose Clinton....

Such a silly post. I don't know whether to laugh or puke.

I was just wondering, could you find Leon Klinghoffer and ask him if any of the kind folks being harbored by the Hussein regime were a danger to Americans? Oh wait, you can't, because he was slaughtered in his wheelchair and dumped into the Med by one of Hussein's guests, Abu Abbas.

Given what you've written here, I'm certain that if Clinton had decided to deal with Al-Qaida during his tenure, you would have condemned it as a "military effort that [didn't] defend Americans and their property in the United States." By the way, I'm sorry you slept through that whole September 11th thing. Somebody slams two kilotons of combat power into Manhattan on a Tuesday morning and you think preventing it (or worse) from happening again is not a legitimate national security concern? You deserve a Darwin Award. Fortunately for you, it is others who will pay the ultimate price to keep this nation safe. But please, don't just settle for dishonoring their sacrifice online. Why don't you get some exercise and go spit on their graves while you're at it?

"Almost everyone on Free Republic supports Republican wars and opposes Democratic ones."

WWII was entered into by a democrat and I support it.

The Korean war was entered into by a democrat and I support it.

The Vietnam War was entered into by a democrat and I support it.

I am a conservative Republican.

And you are a fool.

Buchannon didn't win, idiot.

What's the use of having the worlds strongest military if you won't use it to help mankind and stop human suffering?

You would rather let our enemies fester untill they are powerfull enough to destroy America?

Bush has ended decades of oppresion and tyrrany, something Clinton never even came close to doing.

You know, the Soviet union tried to close it's doors to the rest of the world, and that worked real well for them, didn't it?
