One day I was using insecticide in a hose sprayer pointing it up under the eaves at a lake cabin where it seemed every wasp and spider in the woods had made a home.I got wet in the process.I didn't shower there but went home and suddenly became ill..weak kneed,sick at my stomach and dizzy.Imagine what full dose would do.

A few years ago on the local news they reported about a man who had been spraying insecticide, Malathion I believe, from a pressurized tank strapped to his back. The tank was leaking and he got enough insecticide on his skin during the course of his spraying that he died the same day.

You were lucky, and you shouldn't be as cavalier about such exposure next time. If you get some on you, wash it off immediately.

Probably works great on gophers although I'd keep your kids out of the backyard for a couple of days after "application". ;)

I called the nurse next door,bathed very shakily if I recall,told the story to warn others and let the wasps roost where thy pleased from that time forward.I was stressed, had a lot of clean up to do,and paid for my carelessness. Never again! That's why bells and whistles went off on the insecticide they found.

I read one report that they were divorced a few months ago, at the same time that he was fired from his position as Oil Minister. I don't know if the divorce report is true or not; if they are divorced, it hasn't been widely mentioned.
