I agree that it's extraordinarily unlikely that anyone related to Senator Hollings will ever read the messages here, and, not having known any of the people involved, I won't tear my hair and wear sackcloth and ashes, though I will feel some sympathy. However, making fun of soemone's death says a lot about the person who does it, and what it says isn't particularly good.

I didn't send flowers to that Island they buried Princess Diana on either.

At the time, it seemed like I was one of the few people in the country that didn't give a hoot about Diana's death. If it weren't for the constant reminders from the media, I would've probably forgotten about it within an hour after it was reported.
