bump to your remarks, cub.
My daughter is 12 (13 next month) and this story touched my heart. Prayers for this young girl and loved ones. <><

You are correct and I apologize. I realized that after I posted and was off to bed. I am sorry. The post I sited shows your misunderstanding of the issue. If you would care to discuss it or learn, please join the gun grab thread du jour at

I agree that it's extraordinarily unlikely that anyone related to Senator Hollings will ever read the messages here, and, not having known any of the people involved, I won't tear my hair and wear sackcloth and ashes, though I will feel some sympathy. However, making fun of soemone's death says a lot about the person who does it, and what it says isn't particularly good.

I don't have a misunderstanding of the issue, unless, of course, you are insinuating that by not not agreeing with you I must have misunderstood. That sounds more like a strawman.
My post stands for itself. And you misconstruing it for your own agenda let's me know exactly how any further discussion you and I might have ever had about this would go.
As for your late night realization, I notice you let your accuastion stand until called on it.

......I will shed no tears for the Senator. He is a mean-spirited, nasty man. Let's not forget how he treated Senator Tower. Let's not forget how disrespectfully he treated his opponents over the years. Pretty much sums up how I feel about Mr. Hollings.
I didn't send flowers to pile on Princess Di's memorials, either.

Thank you and Happy Early Birthday greetings to your soon to be teenager. Now the fun begins. :) Happy Easter.

We're so blessed with our daughter. She's really a great young lady. Happy Easter to you too, cub. :o)

I'm sure the 12 year old girl who found her mother would appreciate your humor.

Down on bended knee humbly asking for your forgiveness. You are correct about further discussion. Constitutional principles are so easily misconstrued.

I didn't send flowers to that Island they buried Princess Diana on either. At the time, it seemed like I was one of the few people in the country that didn't give a hoot about Diana's death. If it weren't for the constant reminders from the media, I would've probably forgotten about it within an hour after it was reported.
To: chnsmok
Once again you seem to have misconstrued my post. Perhaps you have a problem with comprehension.
I was refering to your smary attempt to brand me as not being able to understand the Constitution.
But, hey, whatever you need to make your point, right?

I am sorry I am not as smary as you. I have a problem comprehending those that will sell the constitution down the river for political expediency.

I'm not the one who started this exchange off with a falsehood, that would be you.
I'll just let you have the last word since you're so determined to prove the statements I made about you and your interpretations of others posts to suit your own agenda.
And since you know so much about the Constitution, surely you must know that is it always capitalized.

Now that you have told me your post that I quoted is a falsehood, I feel better. Thank you for the clarification.

You really are quite a piece of work.
Me to you: And just where is my anti-gun statement in that post?
You to Me: You are correct and I apologize. You are correct and I apologize. I realized that after I posted and was off to bed.
But carry on. I'm sure there are plenty others out there you can misconstrue to further discredit yourself!!!
