Morning Anchor Replacing Chung, Adding 'Crossfire' Time Slot

CNN made it official late yesterday: Paula Zahn is replacing Connie Chung in prime time. And to make way for Zahn's show, "Crossfire" is being shipped out of prime time.
Zahn's new live 7-9 p.m. show, "American Evening With Paula Zahn," will originate from the streetside studio in the Time & Life Building.
Teya Ryan, CNN executive vice president and general manager, who announced the changes in a memo to staff yesterday, said no decision has been made as to who will take over Zahn's duties on "American Morning."

The FCC really doesn't have much authority over CNN - since CNN is cable. The FCC regulates over-the-air broadcasts.

So who did Paula sleep with to get this promotion?
You know, after she completely bilked CNN by lying about her salary at FNC in order to get so much money out of CNN, you'd think they would by now have a clue that she's a sham.
Of course, maybe she threatened to torture or kill some office flunky if they didn't give in to her. CNN would have to give in if she did that.

If they can just push enough chairs to the stern, it can be saved!

CNN fire Mrs. Al Hunt? Surely you jest.
You'd think that CNN could spend a few bucks a week on Judy's hair. The last time I saw her on CNN (months ago), she looked mousy at best.
Now I remember when I had CNN on last: Election Night last November! I probably won't turn CNN back on until Election Night in '04, so keep me posted.

Sometimes I watch Judy Woodruff just to laugh at her hair-doo. (I know, its sick).

Judy Woodruff is the Helen Thomas of CNN.
We are witnessing CNN headed for the ashheap of television history.
This is a great day indeed.

Fox and Friends OWNED her azz...!

Zahn must feel like a hospice nurse watching over the death of CNN and the end of the careers of her fellow lying liberals.
CNN, the favorite network of the Baathist Parties in Iraq and in America, known here as the Rat Party.!

Novak was already upset about what they had done to
Crossfire.
I suspect he will leave.

I hope that CNN never gets rid of the whining anorexic Woodruff.
She is one of the best things for conservatives. She is turning the moderates away from CNN.

Well, as long as we re confessing...I LOVED Judy woof-woof when Preisdent Reagan swept the elections. That night I smoked a cigar and had a cognac just enjoying Judy and Bernard Shaw wrestkle and lose with their frustrations!I wish I had a video to watch over and iver again. Incidentally, the other doofus I love to watch get hammered is Eleonar Rodham Clintomn Clift on McGlaughlin(?) group.

Has she had foot reduction surgery since moving to CNN?

Yeah, she is fun to look at. Just don't say she's "sexy". It could cost you your job.

"She's looked rather rough lately, almost on the verge of a nervous breakdown "
That's because she's running out of news channels to work for. From what I understand, her ratings for her morning show are tanking, and it sure doesn't look good for her in primetime either. I give her six months or less.

" it looks like Paula Zahn is the alpha-male at cnn "
LOL!! Paula has never appealed to me-her " biass " is too big.
To: Liz
Only CNN would be stupid enough to put a sleepy morning show on in prime time.
Does anyone remember what was on CNN at 8 pm before the war started? I can't recall, and it appears the author of this article can't recall either.

I don't know why the liberals keep complaining they have no media. Just looking at the CNN lineup gives me the willies. And who can forget Judy Woodruff's face the night Al Gore lost? I thought she was going to put her face down on the desk and cry "Boo Hoo hoo...."

Zahn is sexier and prettier than Chung.
To: Liz
Is she going to wear a French Maid outfit. As that may make me turn in for a couple of minutes.
But only to comment on how they are just cashing in on her looks and not her brains as they did when she first went over to CNN.
