‘The Real Deal’-
CNN’s too little, too late apology

The New York Times wrote that CNNs top executive, Eason Jordan, admitted that for the past 12 years the news network concealed information about Saddam Husseins brutality and did it in order to keep their Baghdad bureau open. Jordan thinks he made the right call but heres the real deal on CNNs bargain.
NOW CNN ADMITS it had evidence of Saddam Husseins human rights atrocities and refused to reveal it to the viewers of the world. In many instances, the CNN big wigs actually knew Saddam Hussein was imprisoning and torturing some of their own employees but they refused to report the truth to the world because that may have got them kicked out of Baghdad.

How about Joe for President in 2008?
Personally I think his show should run four hours ;)
Get the Real Deal! Former Congressman Joe Scarborough (R-Fla.) hosts Scarborough Country. Live weeknights, at 10 p.m. ET

Just curious. What did MSNBC do to reveal Saddam's crimes? Why is the pot calling the kettle black? Granted that CNN was in Baghdad more than anybody else. Nevertheless, ALL the media covered for Saddam, with a very few honorable exceptions.
Just like ALL the media with a few honorable exceptions covered for clinton.

They probably did - only the half-dozen or so people who watch them were asleep at the time !

What would expect from Hanoi Jane's network?
I'm sure Ted is proud that his (and Jane's) keen sense of integrety has ben firmly imbued at CNN.

What did MSNBC do to reveal Saddam's crimes? This really isn't MSNBC, just a conservative talk show host who has an hour show on MSNBC.
