Who knows if classic rock will last forever, but my father still likes the big bands... that was his era, when I'm 70 no doubt I'll still like Zep, Floyd, Boston, and all the goods bands of my time.

What really scares me though is the thought classic rap will last forever. Tell me about it. In the mid-80's I thought rap would be a 3 to 4 year fad, at most. Unfortunately, it looks like it's here to stay.
Want to get really scared? There's something out there WORSE than rap. I don't know what it is but I know it's out there. I said the samething about disco...and (unfortunatly) I was right.
