You raise a very interesting issue, one that needs to be explored. Last night, I finally watched a tape of the TV movie Rudy. The scenes of the people jumping from the WTC were deleted. Indeed, during all the live, and endless coverage of 9/ll..the nets stopped showing the scenes of the people who chose to jump to their deaths rather than be burned alive....now that the POWs are returned, should we show the American people how eveilthe Iraqi regime was....where are all the pics of the tortur chambers....after WW II, the British army filmed unbelievable footage of the concentration camps....hideous..they deaden the souo..and are rarely shown...yet every time we have some idiot who denies the holocaust, we should show them 24/7.....what I'm saying, I guess, is that we hurt ourselves, our cause, with this rediculous self-censourship....indeed, it's imposed on us by those net bosses supposedly concerned for our "sensabilities"...yet who happily give us MTV videos 24/7.....

OK. that's enough rant for today....

It's much more difficult now to find pics along the lines of 9/11 jumpers, for insance, on Google and Alta-Vista.

I know there's always a certain group of sickos who gets off on that stuff...but why it's OK to endlessly show the towers collapsing, but never NEVER show a person jumping..well..it depersonalizes the horror...and we need to remember that we are opposing people who HATE us for no reason..just because we're Americans, and if they could, they'd happily throw every person in NYC off the top of the Empire State Bldg or the Statue of Liberty...
