It's the same here, too. Only a handful of conservatives here on campus. With my "Bush Door" they know at least ONE. It's so sad to see this happening because the kids under their "care" don't get a balance in their studies. It's always the left and scarcely the right.

Regime change in Ithaca!

Either that, or we kick 'em out of the Union.

It's either that, or something a little more... direct. Maybe a little "shock and awe" action, perhaps? (predatory grin)

Professors at Ithaca College are very diverse.

50% believe in killing capitalist pigs to achieve socialism, while the other 50% believe torture and concentration camps will suffice.

See?

All points of view are represented.

As mentioned, the Dean defended IC by claiming that professors are objective and don't proselytize. Have a look at this web page from IC's Sociology Department, and in particular at the very first listing.

You'll notice that Prof. Brous flatly states that she "combines" her teaching with her "community" (meaning left-wing) activism.

After that it's just simple statistics. I don't feel like figuring it out now, but if half of the faculty was sampled the margin of error in estimating the division of the entire faculty is quite small.

The unknown variable is the total number of faculty at the college. If there are 1000 faculty members, then knowing the political affiliation of 120 would not be sufficient to predict the political affiliations of the remaining 880, particulalry since the 120 faculty members were not chosen at random. But if 150 is the total number of faculty, then the analysis of the political affiliations of the known faculty is sufficent to predict the affiliations of the unknown. Either way, I have no doubt whatsoever that the vast majority of college faculty throughout the Country are well left of left.

This study could have been about almost any college in America, excepting perhaps Hillsdale. Even Catholic colleges have long switched over to pc, with department heads who bow down not to Jesus, but to Margaret Sanger.

Your comment is sadly true. Let's not forget that the most famous graduate of Georgetown, for example, is none other than . . . Beezlebubba.
