Yeah, I know what you mean. Many Republicans actually vote on principle rather than blind party loyalty. It comes back and bites us in the a$$.

Unlike most as it seems sometimes here my vote is not owed to a party it must be earned. This was one of the main issues that made me choose Bush in 2000. If he does sign a extension or makes permanent the ban then he will not get my vote nor will anyone that votes for it.
