This is a joke? We are seeing reports that the Brits are arming more and more of their police and ordering them to wear body armour because of increasing gun crime! And the people who say they believe our future depends on societal gun elimination want us to be more like them?

1.FACT: Although the gun lobby, led by the National Rifle Association, literally spends millions of dollars each year promoting this false claim, the truth is the federal courts have unanimously held that the right to keep and bear arms is limited to participation in an organized militia...that the Second Amendment does not guarantee the right of individuals to own and to carry arms.
OHHH this ticks me off. Why in the blue flame of *$^% do people not see why the 2nd Amendment was written. This is why the founders of this great REPUBLIC wrote the 2nd amendment into the Bill of Rights.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
You want to have fun w/ a politician? Ask him/her to define the 4 words "shall not be infringed" by those words alone. I can only think of one definition, that one cannot infringe on what ever it is implying, might be infringed. Simple enough.

But it's those 1st 4 words that the gungrabbers use "A well regulated Militia", that makes their argument what it is today.
How about we just drop those 1st four words and let the left try and argue that the people don't have a right to keep and bear arms?
