NOTICE OF ELECTION
The General Election for Council Position 3, Council Position 4 and Council Position 5 will be held Saturday, May 3, 2003 from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the following locations:
League City Precinct 1 Hall Elementary
5931 Meadowside Drive
League City Precinct 2 Ross Elementary
2401 West Main Street
League City Precinct 3 Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center
400 West Walker
League City Precinct 4 Central Fire Station
Park and Second Streets
League City Precinct 5 Ferguson Elementary
1910 South Compass Rose Blvd.
Candidate Packets may be obtained from the City Secretary at City Hall, 300 West Walker. Candidate may begin filing their application for a place on the ballot at 8:00 A.M., February 17,2003 until 5:00 P.M., March 19,2003.
Early Voting by personal appearance begins April 16,2003 and ends April 29,2003 at City Hall, 300 West Walker, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon.
If necessary, a run-off election will be held Saturday, May 31,2003 at the above League City Precincts. Early voting by personal appearance for the run-off election begins May 14,2003 and ends May 28,2003 Monday through Thursday, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. Early voting will NOT be held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26,2003.
