Sitting there on his C-span throne, allowing callers and guests to lie without challenge, makes a mockery of C-span's reason for existance. I'm sick of it.
A sea of red, white, and blue flags and Toby Keith singing "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" on the huge screen with the Capitol in the background.

The speakers were all great. However, your humble writer and several other DC FReepers left early as an advance party to scout a location near the Washington Post for FReeping the C.A.N.S.W.E.R. leftists as they marched by.
Daughter of tgslTakoma, Kristinn, YourAdHere, his friend Nick, and BillF(your writer) were among the advance party.
Traveling by car from the CU rally toward our planned spot for protesting the leftists, Kristinn noticed Laura Ingraham walking towards the rally. I recalled that YourAdHere had a great sign in the car that was designed for Ann Coulter. His sign said "ANN, PLEASE MARRY ME." He was saddened that Coulter wasn't coming, I suggested that he could cross out "ANN" on the sign and write in "LAURA," but it was not to be.
(Central command refused to confirm rumors that Coulter was not speaking due to some "Blonde-on-blonde" incident also involving Ingraham. They're both great, but both speaking at the same rally might have been too much charisma in the city.)
Arriving in front of the Washington Post, we chatted briefly with a couple security guards and a more senior person (apparently a supervisor of building security or maintenance). The senior guy said that the Post had protests against it two or three times a week.
The irony of us appearing to defend the Post would later be magnified when at least one leftist claimed on one of their web message boards that we FReepers were employees of the Post or paid by them. How dare they accuse us of that!
I contemplated a suit for libel, but decided that the leftist's only asset, a 20 year old tie-dyed t-shirt, was not sufficient to pay off any judgment.
Before the big march of leftist flotsam and jetsam passed by us, a lone leftist walked by and objected to one of my signs. It said "BRAVE U.S. TROOPS PREVENT NEXT 9/11." This didn't make sense according to the lone leftist. After all, the troops don't make policy. He claimed that only policy makers can prevent another 9/11. Why he couldn't understand that people (military, intell, law enforcement, etc.) implementing policy also can affect what happens is beyond me. And soon he was beyond me.
After a pause in our force flow, a second wave of FReepers arrived including LeadPenny, Angelwood, tgslTakoma, Sauropod, Jimmy Valentine, Jimmy Valentine's brother, hellinahandcart, and GunsAreOK. I believe that others were there, but I'm not sure.
Please chime in if you were there or you can add names of others who were there.
After the action, we saw Doctor Raoul, who, along with another person, had FReeped the leftists about a block away.
Our signs, in addition to those mentioned above, included:

Ahead of the march were at least 3 police cars and a guy on a skateboard. At both the front and back of the march were sound trucks with leftists shouting through megaphones from flat truck beds.
As the thousands of leftists passed in front of us, many of the FReepers including me were back near the front wall of the Post. Intrepid FReepers including Sauropod, LeadPenny, Jimmy Valentine, Jimmy Valentine's brother, and Kristinn formed a front line of FReepers near the edge of the sidewalk separated from the leftists by a line of parked cars.
As the leftists surged along the street in front of us, their "marshals" tried to block the more aggressive ones from going between the parked cars to get to us. However, other of the leftists were walking along the sidewalk and came between the front and back line of FReepers. Some of the leftists with cameras even got behind our back line, but they were simply taking photos or video.
We trading chants with the leftists and the situation grew more heated. Just in time, a line of police officers came, dismounted from their bicycles, and formed a protective line along the side walk. They soon requested the front line of FReepers to get behind them.
Our chants included:

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS
SWIM TO CUBA
At one stage, an especially belligerent "peace" protestor challenged us to fight and said "I'll kick your ***es!" My reply was PEACE AND LOVE, CAN'T WE ALL HUG? Soon several of us were chanting SADDAM NEEDS A HUG.
In the middle of the street the leftists did something bizarre. OK, something else bizarre beyond their usual bizarre conduct. Dozens of phony dollar bills were somehow propelled 20 feet in the air and were distributed by the wind. The phony money had pictures of President Bush on them and various leftist web addresses.
Jimmy Valentine's brother was shouting at the leftists YOU TOOK THE BROWN ACID AT WOODSTOCK. Although that was undoubtably true for some, he adjusted the rant upon noticing some of the younger protestors. His booming voice soon thundered YOUR PARENTS TOOK THE BROWN ACID AT WOODSTOCK and YOU'RE STUCK IN A 60s QUAGMIRE.
As the sound truck at the back of the leftists' march approached us, they stopped shouting RACIST at us. (I never figured out how being in favor of liberating the Iraqi people from a brutal tyrant make us, in their warped minds, racists.)
With at least five hundred marchers in our immediate vicinity and the end-of-the-march sound truck approaching our position, the leftists begin shouting SHAME ON YOU at us and pointing to us. They thought that President Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld (occasionally Ashcroft and Powell as well) were the "axis of evil." The leftists HATED the Hitler-like warmonger President Bush that existed solely in their warped minds.
And now they hated us. It was great!
The lefty disruptor broad that was at our 23 March rally showed up and continued calling us "Morons!" LOL!
Daryl Lamont Jenkins showed up as well and kept taking pictures of us. I checked out his website (onepeoplesproject.com) and the writers there still don't have the definition of fascism right. They insist that if you are a patriot, you are a fascist (because you have strong nationalistic tendencies).
BTW, I think Daryl Lamont Jenkins lives in New Brunswick, NJ. That is where their website is based.
As an aside, they are trolling for any personal info about any fascist/right-wing people (including us). They refer to FR as "Freak Republic."
And the writing on Daryl's site is juvenile at best.
