Before y'all start your Catholic bashing for the day you should realize that there are 325,000 active duty Catholics in the US military, fully 30% of the military is Catholic. We have and always will do more than our share of fighting for this country. How much have the other denominations done?

I don't bash rank and file Catholics. Its their leaders that are failing in their duty to the flock by allowing the church to be subverted by Marxism and paganism.

How much have the other denominations done? Post your source for the 30% and we'll probably see a breakdown in military personnel by religion.

On your figure of about 30%,...I'd say other faiths have done about 70%.

Agreed. The Catholic bashing is in very poor taste.
To set the record straight, the Ulster Scots and their descendants have done more to establish and further the republic than any other single ethnic/religious group. They have traditionally been presbyterian. Boy, how the U.S.A. Presbyterian Church has fallen. None of us is immune to sin or its consequences. None of us has a monopoly on defending our country.

It always amazes me how Catholics keep count...they always know the "score" in any community...ask any protestant how many protestants are in their community and I bet they do not know, or for that matter really care...

How much have the other denominations done? This really ticks me off. Get off your denominationalism. It will get you nowhere. If the RCC deserves criticism, as it well does in this case, then take it standing up. This guy is an official of a church that boasts of its hierarchicalism, and is making assinine comments. He, and the church that authorizes him, is a legitimate target.

No one is bashing catholics, its the leadership itself bashing the President and the war effort.

Ah...but how could some of these cretins get their week started without getting a good Catholic-bashing thread going? What...are you trying to spoil their fun with messy stuff like facts?

Of the firemen killed at the WTC, 90% were Catholic. Of the cops killed at the WTC, 95% were Catholic.

So, do those 325,000 support the pedophile pope? The pope that kissed the Koran? Can you proove it if ya say they do? Furthermore, RELIGION has nothing to do with faith and believing in GOD. So, are you counting the crusades when you say cathiolics do more than any other religion?
Catholics are NOT morally superior than anyone else, especially in light of the IMMORAL way the church, its poop, and its priests have been acting.
As a catholic, I say the poop is irrelevant and so is the catholic church unless it gets out of the SIN it is committing now.
