Personally, upon learning the name of the play "Vagina Monologues" I had dismissed the play as "filth" unbefitting for viewing by a "Lady".
Sadly, this does not detoer many women these days.

I don't think it's particular to women, just our times. Can you imagine a play called "Urinetown" winning prizes? Or right now there's a new hit play on Broadway, The Play What I Wrote, which is full of off-color homosexual jokes and even a scene where one man basically buggers another, has an orgasm, etc. Ugh.
Our society is going down the tubes! ;-) Sort of, anyway.
