I hadn't heard this before, but Con Coughlin, who wrote a bio of Saddam, tells O'Reilly just now that he has heard that Tariq Aziz and Baghdad Bob were both in the restaurant last week when it was bombed.
I'm gonna miss that Bob if he was in that rubble.
But I thought Bob was still around right after that bombing. Can't remember now the sequence of events.

I think the last time we saw B-Bob was in the courtyard of the Palestine Hotel ...the day Greg Kelly and his unit drove right in to Saddam's palace on the west bank of the river. This was the "we poisoned them" press conference.
Did we ever see him again?

He is not dead. Not even a MOAB one could kill that insanity. Besides, I believe that he was seen the day after we bombed that section of Baghdad.

But I thought Bob was still around right after that bombing. Nope. That was the day of his last appearance. I've suspected since the next day (when he didn't appear) that he and maybe Tarik Aziz were there...

OK, I've gone back through some of these theads and found some timelines.
Would you believe it was A WEEK AGO we were talking about Andrea Mitchel's report that a bunker buster had taken out Saddam et al?! It was last Monday night.
And, incredibly, I found what I believe is the last reference to Baghdad Bob's appearances before the camera. It was SUNDAY night, 11:30 pm PST. (That made it 1:30 where I am and I know I stayed up long after his presser). This was the time B-Bob said we weren't in Baghdad, but Greg Kelly was with a colonel across the river who said he would "go over there" and talk to him.
I can't find where he made another appearance. Looks to me like he was prolly in that bunker. He was entertaining for awhile, but I'm glad we got 'im.
