Then asks Torie Clarke about the scientific advisor saying the other day Iraq has no WMD and, the reporter states, he has no reason to lie now (can you see which way this is going?).

Torie: "Old habits die hard". Reporter doesn't like, and pursues this line of thinking (ascribing motives and such to the scientist). Torie responds that she has no desire to get in his head (the scientist's). She told the reporter she was serious about her "old habits" comment. In other words: We don't just take his word. (Me to reporter: Duh)

He was discussing the Syria/WMD thing and SAID WE NEEDED TO SEND IN THE UN WEAPONS INSPECTORS! He wants them to find them for us. Does anyone know who this man was and do you think we would even consider that "quagmire?"
