About time liberals worry about harrassing our service men and women. Our troops should feel pride in wearing their uniforms anywhere, especially here in Texas.

This is sad, but it's not new. My hubby's unit was advised after 911 not to wear uniforms off duty. My son, awaiting deployment at Fort McCoy was on an emergency 4 day pass home...he had to wear civies on the Amtrack home and back again.

Any harassment of uniformed military personnel had better not happen in my presence. I endured this crap 35 years ago and always faulted the American middle-class for allowing it to happen.

It won't happen this time if I'm present.

This hasn't been a problem since we received the same instructions in 1972.

Don't let these scum get away with it (again). It's a great time to be an American and it is time to take our country back.

Time for the remedial hand-to-hand training.

Fortunately, I live near Ft. Benning, Georgia, the "Home of the Infantry." NOBODY tries that kind of stuff here, but mostly because NOBODY wants to.

How about the male citizens taking some action instead of letting things like this happen..

A few banged heads and lots of confrontation with these traitors should produce some positive results!!!

Whatever happened to the strong and 'proud of America' men in this country?

"Some Marines who were nearby saw what was happening and went to the sailors' aid.

"The matter was then taken care of by combined military action."

Translation: Townies got their a** kicked.

Kinda sad isn't it when our so-called Generals are too damned COWARDLY and have NO PRIDE that they would order servicemen & women NOT to wear their uniforms while IN THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA!

That general needs to be sacked! Don't give me any of that whinny 'feel-my'pain' cry-baby, but they might get harrased crap ... Tell the soldiers if they are harrased turn around and kick the liviving SH*T out of those leftist pieces of merde!

Paul's instruction: Wear your uniform with pride and smash your fist in the face of anyone who harasses you!

Austin, Texas is a mini-San Francisco.

Yeah, that'll work. One GI computer tech against a couple rednecks - someone who isn't trained in hand-to-hand against a couple guys who go out every Friday and barfight. Sorry, but a uniform doesn't make you superman.

Isn't Pastor John Hagee's (sp?) church in San Antonio? If so, give him a call and he will sic his huge and very patriotic congregation on the misguided souls who harass our military.

Also, I urge folks in that area to hold a pro war rally to show support for our military. This will help to stiffe the bad Americans who act out against our soldiers.

I endured this crap 35 years ago and always faulted the American middle-class for allowing it to happen.

I mentioned this on another thread a couple of weeks ago. We all should be Human Shield Volunteers for all uniformed military personnel. Our military ought to be able to wear their uniforms in the United States. But thanks to some cowardly jerkoffs, they sometimes can't, because military personnel are restricted in how they behave in public. But you and I are not. If I overhear or see anything of the sort happening in my presence, you can bet I will personally intervene.

I'm really surprised to see this coming out of a city where that has such an important military presence. I'd hate to see this translate into Lackland recruits not getting leave into town.
