I was lurking a DU the other day, and was struck by their hatred of of every aspect of our President. W could cure cancer and AIDS, capture Osama, and invent a new type of cheap fuel and the people on that forum wouldnt give him an inch.

What astonishes me is that some of them do. This is the first time I've seen Undertoads express any sentiment that was not overtly hostile to the United States. There may be hope for some of them, yet.

This remark jumped out at me. "Baghdad's fall makes Red Cross job harder."

Oh by all means, we should have allowed SH to remain in power and continue to murder, maim, and torture innocent civilians by the thousands at his whim rather than to make the job of the Red Cross more difficult.

"Just wait here and the Press will be by shortly and you'll all be heroes!" Seeing these faces on BBC in the first week of the devistation of Iraq, and no other POW's counted, then these SAME POWS are "freed" after Bagdad is "liberated".... and just "walking down the road" no less? This stinks. And it stinks of Rove. In other words: I don't buy it.
