The liberals are p.o.'d 'cause they know they are on the side of evil but even more so they now know that the WORLD KNOWS they're on the side of evil. They're actions can no longer be hidden in the dark. Like Saddam, the world now knows who's side they're on.

A "CNN" is a cable channel of very uneven quality, generally anti-American in tone, that I am forced to watch while at work because apparently the powers-that-be have decided FOX NEWS is too pro-American.I hear you complaining, but atleast you get to watch TV at work. Most of the rest of us don't ;-)

What wonderful news for these POWs and their families at Eastertime. Just seeing those photos brings tears of joy.

I am so glad JimRob has rules of format to follow... Gads, such words they use! A few readings from there was enough for me. That is one reason why FR is so popular.

Ah...CNN. Anyway, one of their embeded-reporter said the Marines were so happy to find the POWs, they all formed a circle around these guys, broke down, cried and prayed.
These are the tough leather neck. God bless our troops.

I heard that "tone" too--and was glad that the reporter with the family just seemed to ignore it. I think even Bob Franken must be rejoicing--and he is NOT one of my favorite reporters.
Just which Fox News could have broken this story--but I suppose it is just "fair and balanced" that CNN gets this story. The coverage by Brent Sadler last night was excellent and good reporting should be what journalists are about.
No matter what--we need to be celebrating the fact that our coutnry now has seven of it's finest back!

Democrats suck.I was lurking a DU the other day, and was struck by their hatred of of every aspect of our President. W could cure cancer and AIDS, capture Osama, and invent a new type of cheap fuel and the people on that forum wouldnt give him an inch.
Democrats, do indeed, suck.

I notice that almost none of the DU posts seem overly happy. What astonishes me is that some of them do. This is the first time I've seen Undertoads express any sentiment that was not overtly hostile to the United States. There may be hope for some of them, yet.

Yes, it sounded to me like a slap-down of the reporter on the phone for being too obviously happy about the return of these prisoners.
On the other hand, I watched Sadler's little "Recon Patrol" into TIKRIT last night, and I was impressed by his guts (and all the people in his small convoy). They could all easily be vulture-bait this morning after this expedition.

Whereabouts no longer Unknown. What a sweet homecoming. And now we all know too.
To: Centurion2000
We grieve, of course, for the families who haven't had such wonderful new, but we thank God that these 7 were found. Fox said early this morning that it was another case of civilian Iraqis tipping the American military off. That these POWs had been driven all over the place, and were now being sent to Tikrit. They were recovered on a road to Tikrit.
