I need the name of the pilot rescued. Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is calling Jessica Lynch media attention "unprecedented". During the Bosnia conflict(?) I recall a pilot who eluded capture and wound up with a best seller and a Larry King gig. I need his name to respond to the coverage. My memory isn't what it used to be. I can see his face but cannot remember his name. Help?

Scott O'Grady. But he was not a POW. He had been shot down, hid out for a few days and rescued. Just do a google.com search on his name.

Scott Grady in Bosnia/Yugoslavia . . . . . . but Scott O'Grady had not been captured, but was missing and hiding for almost a week. Jessica Lynch was extracted from actual control of the enemy--an actual prisoner.

Thanks a lot. Could not remember his name. I'd argue he received as much attention as Jesssica at the moment.

What are you doing reading a leftwing scum rag like the Post Gazette when there is another good daily available-- the Tribune Review.
To: Glenn
Scott O'Grady did receive a ton of publicity when he was rescued. But Pfc. Lynch was the first POW rescued since WWII.
