Islamic dissidents warn humanists to beware radicals

In real time, world Islam may be in the 21st century, but in practice, it's closer to the Dark Ages, panelists said at a forum yesterday.

"The theory and practice of jihad was not concocted in the Pentagon," said Ibn Warraq, a speaker at the conference on Islam sponsored by the Council for Secular Humanism at the Capitol Hilton. "It was taken from the Koran, the Hadith [additional sayings of Muhammad] and Islamic tradition. Western liberals, especially humanists, find it hard to believe this. The trouble with Western liberals is they are pathologically nice. They think that everyone thinks like them, including the Islamic fundamentalists.

The Koran says to try to convert infidels, but failing that they are to impose a tax, or kill them.

The radicals today skip the conversion and tax steps, to go straight to the killing.

It speaks volumes of this so called religion, that the mullahs pack pistols and knives.

The notion that these radical practitioners of so called religion can and will change is absurd.

The only prescription for the civilized world is imprisonment for life, or death, of any and all terror-muslims. They and their denominations of islam are irredeemable.
