Abortion is still legal in all 50 states, and the rate is going up, not down. Who's eyes are closed??

Apparently yours are, the abortion rate is going down and the younger generations are more pro life than their parents ever were.

You can have problems with Bush on CFR and the assault weapon ban but he is the most pro life President America has seen since the Roe v Wade and Bolton v Doe atrocious decisions.

The abortion issue is one where the moderates need to get militant. The extremes have dominated the debate, and the positions of all too many politicians. The result is stasis. It is time to try to break the logjam, and lance the boil of this issue, which in so many ways poisons the dialogue in the public square, and fashions hard political lines, which tend to spill over in a negative way into other issues. JMO, and I know the moderate opinion on abortion has relatively few supporters on FR. But it is my opinion.
