Jackson deputy fired, plans to run for sheriff Leesha Faulkner / Education Editor Posted on April 12, 2003 Jackson Parish Sheriff Richard Johnson has fired his chief deputy, Andy Brown.

Brown, in a telephone interview Friday afternoon, said Johnson called him into his office Thursday and terminated him.
