Fromherz is no longer an official representative of the RCC, if I read this correctly. So isn't the issue now moot?

Nooo, by no means is it moot.
It's got unexplored comedic value yet! All kinds of untapped potential here! I can just imagine Conan or Leno doing a skit on it.
The ICC come and arrest our President for "war crimes" ?
LOL!
"Mr. President? Sir, do you have a moment?"
"Certainly, what is it?"
"Some, men from the International Criminal Court are here to arrest you for 'War Crimes' Sir.
"Ahh, I see.. Tell the Secret Service to disarm them and lock them in the trunk of their limo, would you please? Then get Dick to drive them to some embassy or something and let them go.. I'm very busy here."
"Yes sir. Right away Mr. President.. "

>>Stephen Brady, who leads a Catholic watchdog group in Illinois, characterizes Catholic peace and justice ministries across the nation as being "for the most part politically driven and left-leaning." >>
These ministries still need to be watched carefully. Along with the so-called 'charitable' businesses, such as Catholic Charities, they are powerful lobbies for the uncontrolled, mass immigration of impoverished people into America. The consequent costs to the American taxpayers are enormous, and the social and economic havoc wreaked upon America's working poor, who must live with these masses of third-world poor, is awful, just awful.
