Judging from the amount of incorrect assumptions, observations and predictions coming from the crowd down in Tinseltown, dumbness must be a prerequisite for stardom and notoriety.

It isn't dumbness of course, it is politics, a war of cultures. These people are hard left socialists. We, and the US Constitution are in their way.

I don't even think they're hard left socialists - they play at being hard left socialists because its the fashion but at the end I doubt if most of them have any serious beliefs other than hedonism.

It is a character defect. A mild form of psychoneurosis (antisocial). Deep down inside, they don't even trust each other.

Let me, for a moment, please, pose a bit of a hypothetical. Suppose there had been no terrorism, no weapons of mass destruction alleged, indeed, no September 11, 2001. Further, let us assume that there was compelling evidence that Saddam was using murder, torture, rape, and dismemberment as part of a policy of terror, that he was imprisoning children, torturing and killing children in front of their parents, and carrying out medical "experiments" on political prisoners that would have made Hitler proud.

At what point does a civilized nation, powerful enough to end the suffering, become morally obligated to end that suffering? Do the concentration camps, the gulags, the killing fields, and the children's prisons get permanent exemptions from interference because they are run by sovereign countries? If a military coup leads to a ruthless dictator taking over a country and using all of its assets to benefit only himself, while the people are left to starve, does that nation still have "sovereignty?" Don't answer the question as if you are a United Nations bureaucrat, answer it as if you are a citizen of the world. The liberals, who proclaim themselves to be the champions of children, of the weak, and of the oppressed have put themselves into an untenable, hypocritical pretzel by denying the positive affects of the liberation of Iraq. I hope the apathetic, undecided American middle recognizes the perfidy.

It's amazing what the left does with factual information. If it doesn't fit their world view it's trashed and ignored. They will believe and tout the most outrageous lies if it helps promulgate the misinformation of the day.

Some of them may snap out of their psychosis someday, but sadly, most will never come to grips wtih reality.

The tragedy is that, in many cases, is it preventable, if caught early. Although, some of the worse cases have to be medicated in later life.

Your question is worthy of a better answer than this, but I'm tired and hungry. Suffice it to say, that if you think little Tommy is deeply saddened now, wait until the next election cycle.

Director Martin Scorsese: "It seems to me that any sensible person must see that violence does not change the world and if it does, then only temporarily. There must be people who remember World War II and the Holocaust who can help us get out of this rut."

Mind-boggling.
