SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina (AP) NATO-led peacekeepers in Bosnia have arrested Naser Oric, a Bosnian Muslim wanted by the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague, NATO in Bosnia said Friday.
Oric, 35, was the wartime army commander in the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica, where the worst massacre of civilian Muslims during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war took place. He was arrested late Thursday.
However, Oric, who was in charge of the defense of the Muslim enclave of Srebrenica from Bosnian Serb forces during the war, is accused of war crimes against Serbs. The Muslims have been seen so far seen as the only war victims in Srebrenica.
The tribunal in The Hague charged Oric with ``violations of the Law and Customs of War, (including) murder, cruel treatment, wanton destruction and plunder,'' said a statement issued by the NATO-led peacekeepers in Bosnia, SFOR.
According to witnesses, Oric was about to enter the building in which he lives in the northern Bosnian city of Tuzla when several cars, including two vans, surrounded him and about a dozen men in civilian clothes jumped out and forced him to lie on the ground.
Oric was then quickly pushed into a van and driven away. Neighbors who watched the action from their windows said the operation did not last more than two minutes.
SFOR helicopters were hovering over the neighborhood during the operation.
The former Muslim enclave of Srebrenica has become known as the site of a massacre in which Serb forces executed up to 8,000 Muslim men and boys in July 1995. Several Bosnian Serbs were indicted for genocide by the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague, including Bosnian Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic and his general, Ratko Mladic. Both are still at large.
Oric was the wartime commander of the Bosnian army in the Srebrenica enclave, besieged by Serb forces for almost three years before they overran.
Serbs blame Oric and his forces for killing during those raids about 2,000 Serb civilians from villages around Srebrenica, including in the so-called Bloody Christmas massacre of January 1993 when dozens of women and children died in the village of Kravice.
Oric is considered a hero by Bosnian Muslims for his defense of Srebrenica.

Hopefully Del Ponte's efforts to ignore Muslim attrocities is not working out.

For example who will sentence the responsible ones of mass liquidations of thousands of Serbian civilians in Sarajevo?
"[...] We are dealing with people [Bosnian Muslim politicians] who are not only alleged to have siphoned off hundreds of millions of dollars of western aid into their private accounts, but are also responsible for systematic murder of over 6,000 Sarajevo Serbs, according to one of their own henchmen, Sljivo Jasmin. Jasmin testified to that effect in the presence of international observers on March 22, 1996 [see TiM Bulletin 96-05, May 1996]. Here's an excerpt from his testimony:
'In the first half of February 1993, on Feb. 1 and Feb 16, [the Bosnian President] Alija Izetbegovic visited Musan Topalovic 'Caco,' [a Muslim commander], and ordered him to commence a massive liquidation of the Serbs in Sarajevo. The Topalovic unit participated in the murders, harassment and humiliation of the Serbs in Sarajevo until his death in July 1994.'
During 1993 and 1994, Sljivo Jasmin was a member of the 10th Mountain Brigade of the Bosnian Muslim forces which was commanded by Musan Topalovic ['Caco']. Jasmin confessed that he had personally killed and cut the throats of more than 200 Serbs in Sarajevo. He also raped about 40 Serbian women. He said had personally known some of the victims. "The Muslim authorities have now begun an effort to cover up their crimes, and move the mass graves where the murdered [Sarajevo] Serbs were buried," he said. [...]"

Even the Bosnian Muslim Paper Slobodna Bosna speaks from up to 3,000 by Bosnian Muslim brigade killed Serb civilians in Sarajevo and from concentration camps for Serbs:
"[...] The question of 2,000 disappeared and killed Serbs is a public secret in Sarajevo. This figure is given by the representatives of Sarajevo Serbs.
Our sources in the Bosnian Army, who wish to stay anonymous, claim that the figure is even higher: more than three thousand persons.
[...]
According to the data of the Serb Civic Council, there is no documentation regarding the majority of 2,000 disappeared and killed persons. Nobody has a "reliable" list of names, because people were simply taken away from their homes and workplaces. In most cases there is no information about the people who took them away nor where they were buried. Some of the cases were explained during the trial of Musan Topalovic Caco. After that, some families demanded to move the corpses of their loved ones from a mass graves on the "Lion" cemetery; bodies of the people who had been executed in Bistrik were buried there.
Pejanovic refers to his efforts in prevention and solving of cases of this sort as "numerous initiatives." Laws which regulate police and courts have been enacted, disobedient commanders of some units have been replaced or arrested and the illegal prisons for Serbs disbanded. During 1992 and 1993 there were prisons in Alipasino Polje, Otoka, Dobrinja, in restaurant "Sunce", Hrasnica, Kosevo and the tunnel along the exit towards Pale. According to the reliable sources, all of these prisons have been disbanded except for the illegal jail in Hrasnica; there are indications that this jail is still operating. Serb Civic Council representatives have visited Hrasnica several times. On two occasions they were told that the jail had been disbanded. However, according to SCC informations, there is still a jail for Serbs in Hrasnica, operating under the "auspices" of the Fourth Brigade of the First Corps.
According to the same source, 20 Serbs died in this place as members of single-nation forced labor platoons. [...]"

Here another Bosnian Muslim Paper, Dani, about the mass murder of Serbs in Sarajevo and about concentration camps for Serbs:
"[...] The Association of Serb Camp Inmates from Belgrade, handed over to the then chief Tribunal prosecutor Richard Goldstone three files about the suffering of Serbs in Sarajevo, and two witnesses who had passed through torture in Sarajevo prisons and were later exchanged directly testified. The interest of the Hague Tribunal in the 'Kazani' case dates from then. As soon as he returned to the Hague, Goldstone instructed the investigators to examine all circumstances in connection with the killing of civilians in the zone of responsibility of the Tenth Mountain Brigade. During the last five years the investigators have collected almost a hundred testimonies, mostly from Serbs, but also people with other ethnic origin. Some details were checked by questioning the witnesses several times.
[...]
Besides the existing evidence, the twelve defendants who were tried in Sarajevo in 1994 and 1996 are incriminated by their own statements. According to the testimony of two Serbs who were held in the prison in the 'Ramiz Salcin' barracks, jailed fighters of the Tenth Mountain Brigade daily boasted about what they had done to Serbs from Sarajevo. They even allegedly shouted: 'Yes, we horribly tortured Serbs and killed them. And we would do that again, given a chance...'
One of the key witnesses, whose identity is protected by the Tribunal, stated the following: 'These Caco's murderers only could not figure out why they were in custody and were going to be tried in front of the District Military Court in Sarajevo!? They repeatedly protested and expressed bitterness because of their arrests and trials. Because of that, without restraint and thinking whether they were incriminating themselves, they openly and cynically talked about their crimes from Trebevic. As if they were retelling a horror movie...'
This witness added that Kubat, Selak, Hasic, Seferovic and others, during the days spent in custody were especially angry with Alija Izetbegovic, with whose administration, according to them, they were in contact at all times. They were convinced that they were unjustly presented as criminals, since until recently they had been treated like a regular Army unit. True, they were outside the chain of command, until the final showdown in November 1993. But that does not justify what they did to civilians.
One of the most horrible stories told by former Caco's fighters in front of Serbs in prison is the one about severed Serb heads. Former fighters of the Tenth Mountain Brigade frequently said that a severed Serb head was a condition for the membership in Caco's unit. Those who presented a severed head, became trusted fighters and Caco had no secrets in front of them. Maybe there is a degree of exaggeration in all that, but all of that is indicative... The defendants in the trials so far did not say anything about that, and some of them pretended to be mad in order to avoid difficult questions by the judges and prosecutors. Two of them, Kubat and Tucakovic, were in the end sent to prison with obligatory psychiatric treatment, while others were not declared to be mentally disturbed.
If they are indicted, Caco's fighters will have to answer charges about the rape of sixteen Serb girls on Trebevic. The victims were allegedly murdered after the rape. The executors talked about the crime themselves, adding that videotapes of the crime made by the members of the Tenth Mountain Brigade exist. That was, apparently done as a reprisal during daily bombardment of Sarajevo. According to those stories, one of the tapes had the title "You are killing us from the hills, and we rape your girls". However, this tape was never sent to Pale. [...]"

Bosnian Muslim Sljivo Jasmin, former member of the Muslim 10th Mountain Brigade, spoke of 6,000 by them murdered Serbs in Sarajevo - Muslim Paper Slobodna Bosna of 3,000 (Bosnian Army figures). Read what happened perhaps to the remaining 3,000 Serbs by this Brigade (again a testimony of a former member):
"[...] Caco executed absolute power over certain neighborhoods. His men would appear on doorsteps to pressgang recruits to fight. He ran a black market operation and was rumored to run contraband even across the front lines. He controlled his own prison, and it was he who decided who was allowed to move into abandoned flats and houses. He forced Sarajevo's Serbs and Croats, as well as his Muslim opponents, to dig front- line trenches. He was involved in large-scale arms smuggling, and even today nobody knows the exact numbers of Bosnian Serb civilians and captured soldiers who were executed by his unit. Mladen Pandurevic, the vice chairman of the Serbian Civic Council, confirms over 400 documented cases, while there are estimates running to three times this number. 'But you will hardly find large mass graves around Sarajevo,' said one former Tiger on the condition of anonymity. 'That is because we normally burned them.' He added: 'I have no doubt that Caco would be on The Hague's list of the most wanted war criminals had he survived.' [...]"

Here Helsinki Committe for Human Rights about the mass murder of Serbs in Sarajevo:
"COVERED UP CRIMES
Sarajevo political magazines Slobodna Bosna, Dani and Svijet are publishing a series of articles on the results of journalists research of the crimes committed over civilians by members of an ABiH unit (AB&H) during the war in the Sarajevo area. The Commander of the unit, Musan Topalovic Caco was killed during an ABiH operation, in the 'showdown with the criminals in Sarajevo', as it was called in those days at the end of October 1993. It is still not known how many civilians were killed on Mt.Trebevic near Sarajevo, where they were thrown into an ambyss. It is assumed that most of the killed were Serbs. After the operation 'showdown with the criminals' a trial was held at the Sarajevo District Military Court under the indictment which was not founded, as was the case of the opening of the investigation, on the legal provisions pertaining to war crimes against civilians, but the indictees were charged for criminal act of murder or for failure to report a murder. Four soldiers were sentenced to a 6-year prison term each, and another eight to 10-month of prison term each. However, only two of them, who are still in prison, were sent to serve the term.
Newspapers claim that the most responsible people in the Sarajevo leadership were aware of the crimes and their covering-up. The President of the Serb Civic Council of B&H and a member of the B&H Presidency during the war, Mirko Pejanovic said in an interview with Dani magazine that between 2,000 to 3,000 Serbs were killed in Sarajevo during the war for which he held responsible the military and civilian authorities."

We're not talking about mass liquidations of Serbs in WW2, commited by Nazi Hitlerian Muslim SS Handshar troops, who wanted to solve the Serbian question in the past.
Were talking about mass killings of Serbs in the 90s.

No, you just cooperate with them...
And I can argue with Nazis, you see how long I am talking with them...
Everyone in the Balkans is allowed to slaughter Serbs without punishment, everyone who is waiting in the line-up... so for example KLA murderer Agim Ceku:
Romanian paper says KLA trained by CIA, BND and the SAS
BUCHAREST -- The ethnic Albanian terrorist organisation calling itself Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) was trained for action by the United States' CIA, Germany's BND and Britain's SAS, Romania's Ziua newspaper said quoting several sources as saying.
The paper quoted the sources as saying also that Agim Ceku, commander of the so-called Kosovo Protection Corps, was on the list of war crimes indictees by the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague.
The fact that the paper is of rightist orientation and backs the United States gives additional weight to the item on KLA's activity and, according to some Romanian analysts, either signals that some power-wielders are changing their attitude towards Ceku and his followers or that these power-wielders have arrived at the conclusion that there is no point in betting on a losing horse.
The paper pointed to the well-known fact that Ceku had been trained by U.S. reserve generals at the Military Professional Resources company. The company had signed a deal with the Croatian Defence Ministry in 1994. The paper said that the company had signed another deal with Croatia at a later stage as well as with KLA.
Ziua said that, in 1991, Ceku, who was then captain in the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA), had deserted from JNA and joined Croatian paramilitary forces.
Ceku was one of the persons who had organised the first attack on JNA barracks in Gospic on September 18, 1991. After seizing the barracks, Ceku and his followers had abducted and killed 156 most prominent Serbs in Gospic and burned their bodies.
Ceku also took part in the massacre of 87 Serb civilians in the Medak pocket.
He also 'distinguished' himself in the Croatian army's Operation Storm that triggered an exodus of about 300,000 Serb refugees who had been forced to flee their homes in Banija, Kordun and Lika.
Tanjug (Yu), "Romanian paper says KLA trained by CIA, BND and the SAS", January, 18, 2000
What a heaven for Fascist Albanian Nazis -- they're able to erase Serbs in masses like in WW2 without punishment and even with support...
